Lord, my father; I am seeking restoration. Restore my heart, thoughts, anticipations, and faith. Please protect my emotions and my integrity. Do not allow my pain to alter who it is you need me to be in this season. Allow my actions to honor your character.

I am still unwrapping what it is I am feeling. I feel blessed, hurt, confused, abandoned, and loved all at the same time. I am overwhelmed, truly. I force myself to feel strong and able... but when I really sit down and ask myself, "How do I really feel?" I crumble into my emotions and allow the waves to possess me. It is needed, but what do I do now, Lord? What do I do with my chaos?

Trusting the Waves

As my feet replant themselves into the sand I seek rebirth. Water me spirit and bring life to what has died. Each wave is different but always serves its purpose. The water may feel uncomfortable, splashing and attacking. Still, I am rooted in the sands of God. I will learn to find my balance. Thank you, Ocean of God.
