I hope July and the second half of this year are gentler on your spirit, kinder to you, good for your growth, and even better than the first half.
terrible years really make you understand the point of a new year. i know nothing much will have changed between dec 31 and jan 1, but we need to be able to partition off everything thatās happened to us, we need a moment to say, āthatās done, weāre done with it, itās overā and have a little hope that the future will be different. we need to be able to stop and take a breath and sing, in the middle of winter, and prepare ourselves for spring.
second book officially has a release date! now we work until then
my second book will be released this year! setting the date in the next few days
Me: I love writing!
Also me:
That was the last sunrise I ever saw. Perhaps the kindest thing the dark gift has given me. // It was the last time I saw my brother. It was the last time I saw the sun. It was the only time I ever felt free.

resilience is ā¦
reminder: do it scared
I'm used to it.
enough to shower early this morning
and throw on sweatpants & a tshirt
enough to wash my tupperware so i can pack lunch to take to work
enough to wash clothes that didnāt get done over the weekend
thatās all i have energy for today.
enough to get through the day.
leaning into change & uncertainty
existing. resting. here.
the pictures stay
even if hidden forever
