If you are looking for a healthy apple dip, you’ve found it! This dip seriously tastes like a caramel apple. All it needs is some nuts! I have started to like nut butter more, but hate that I can only eat a little bit to stay in my calorie range. Mixing it up with the yogurt allows me to have more and still enjoy the taste!
1 cup of Green Protein Vanilla Yogurt
2 tbsp any nut butter
Couple dashes of cinnamon
1tbsp honey
MIX IT ALL UP AND DIG IN! :)
Chilaquiles!!! Hands down one of my favorite new recipes. I love Mexican food. I love the cumin and chili seasonings. I love the spice from the jalapeno. I LOOOOOVE cilantro. I love it all. So, when I found this recipe I had to go for it. I cut the sweet potato into about 1/3″ slices and sprayed them with olive oil and topped with Morton’s Seasoning. I baked them for about 15 mins on 400F ( I would recommend putting it down to 350F) then flipped them and cooked them for another five mins. You want them crispy, but not burnt. I seasoned the chicken with cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, and Morton’s Seasoning ( I put Morton’s on EVERYTHING) Baked it for about 30 mins (at 350F) and diced it up. I topped the chicken on the sweet potatoes and started adding the toppings. I cut up cilantro, green onion, jalapenos, lettuce and topped it all of with salsa!
I hope you all try it and like it! I promise you won’t be disappointed. You can add whatever toppings you like, such as black beans, corn, sour cream, cheese, tomatoes, black olives... you name it. I just kept mine simple because i was trying to make a meal for lunch before I went to work.
Ingredients
- 1 small sweet potatoes, sliced
- 1 green onion, sliced
- 1tbsp cilantro, chopped
-1 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast ( I only use 4 ounces of what I make for one meal and use the rest for another meal)
- 1tbsp salsa
- Crisco Olive Oil Spray (i just sprayed the pan and then the top of the sweet potatoes)
- 5-6 slices of jalapeno (depending on how much spice you like, you can always remove the seeds)
- Seasonings (cumin, chili powder, paprika, Morton’s Seasoning. You can just add enough of each seasoning to partially cover the chicken)
- 1-2 romaine lettuce leaves, chopped
Breakfast Crepes! You will see by my page that I love breakfast. This recipe was one I got from my gym. It’s 1 scoop of protein powder and 1/2 cup of egg whites. Mix them together and pop them on the stove. This was my first time making them and I made a mistake. I should have made them thinner! They are a little strange at first, not going to lie. They are a little spongy and and I ended up reheating them the next day. I feel like they would have been better fresh. Overall, they were good! I added some strawberries and that really helped jazzed it up!

BREAKFAST BURRRRIIITTTOOOOOSSSSS. I was craving a burrito the other day and what better way to satisfy that craving than with a breakfast burrito!? This is a pretty easy and healthy recipe! I was being lazy and didn’t add all my normal favorite ingredients. I typically add sauteed onions, peppers and jalapenos to this mix. YUM.
I used Tumaro’s Gourmet Tortilla Multigrain wrap and stuffed it with 1/4 cup of black beans, 1 whole egg, 1/4 cup of egg whites, 1tbsp of cheddar cheese and 1 tbsp of salsa. I mix the eggs together in a bowl and add cumin, garlic, Morton’s seasoning mix, chili powder and paprika. I would say a dash of each ingredient. Cook the eggs up, pop all the goodness in the tortilla, wrap it up and then i put the folded side down back in the pan to create a seal. After it was done, I wrapped it up in some tinfoil and ate it for breakfast today! I topped it with my favorite hot sauce, Cholula.
These are super great to make a head of time and pop in your freezer. I always let mine defrost a little before putting them in the microwave, but I am sure you can do it straight out of the freezer.
I hope you all enjoy!

Greek chicken and salad for lunch! I LOVE the herbs and spices used to make Greek food. I had a friend that was dating a Greek man and he showed her all of the different meals that they had. She brought to me Greek fest one year and I tried everything. Saganaki, Spanakopita, loukoumades, baklava, and the list goes on. AMAZING! This recipe is best made with marinaded chicken, but I was starving so I just seasoned the chicken and cooked it. It was still amazing.
Me when my mom tells me Sunday dinner is ready! This is one of my favorite czech recipes my mom makes that my grandma used to make! Homemade dumplings with pot roast and brown gravy.
Hi everyone! I am Jonelle. I recently just started (back up) this blog. I have no idea what I am doing. So, just bear with me! :) I started this blog when I was in high school and I’ve forgot about it for a few years. I wanted to start it back up with some of my recipes! I love to cook and most importantly, I love to eat! I get my inspiration from Pinterest, but I put my own twist on the recipes I find. I have been trying to lose some lbs as of recent, so most of my recipes will be healthy! However, I am part czechoslovakian and every Sunday in the winter my mom makes one of my grandmas recipes and they involve dumplings! So, there will definitely be some cheat meals. I more than likely won’t post the recipes for them because there really isn’t an exact recipe. My grandma and my mom just throw ingredients in and make magic! I hope you all like my page and can make these meals your own too! :)
Breakfast of champions! I don’t know about you, but I LOVE breakfast. Not only is the most important meal of the day, but is is my favorite meal of the day! I’ve seen a lot of savory recipes for breakfast sweet potatoes, but then I saw one for a sweet recipe and my mind was blown. I don’t particularly care for sweets in the morning, but this sort of had a savory vibe to it. I baked the sweet potato and then threw some bananas, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, Justin’s Almond Butter with cinnamon, and coconut shreds. My golly was it work all the calories. This is going to be a breakfast staple, but it will definitely be in my recipe book for when I want a sweet treat :)
