EXO’s 2nd Album EXODUS Review!
Love this song to pieces and it’s one of the best tracks on the album. The Korean version is equally as good as the Mandarin. My favorite part is the chorus of course. Such an upbeat song that can have me jamming from morning to night!
Didn’t like the song on the first listen but as I heard it more it grew on me. I really am into it now and just jam away to it. The transition to ‘hip-hop’ to ‘pop’ still does bother me a little bit but not too much. For this song I do think the Korean counterpart does flow better then the Mandarin.
It’s a song that doesn’t really catch my attention. It’s a really nice ballady slow song but sounds typical. For this song however, I do prefer the Mandarin version compared to the Korean. It just sounds like the song was made for Mandarin.
Now this ballad song is life. I first the Korean version and let me tell you.... I need for Kyungsoo so sing this to me for the rest of my life. This song isn’t long enough. Everything about this song is everything that I need in life. Now for the Mandarin version, I won’t lie, I had doubts about the English parts since Chen’s pronunciation isn't the best but let me tell you, he blew me away. I love both versions of this and if I could, I’d cheat and but 10 stars for this song. It’s surprising my third favorite song off this album.
Catchy as hell! It’s such another good dancey song. I really believe this would have made a good single, which I believe it will be in the future. And can we talk about Baekyeon’s part with ‘She’s dangeously hot’! I was done at that part. And don’t get me started with Chen singing that part since I do favor his long high notes like in What is Love. Getting to the point I love both versions of this song, even though I favor M’s version a bit more but it’s only a bit so I’ll leave them both with 5 stars!
It’s a good song but it’s not my favorite. I’m basing these reviews on my first listen, no lyric lookups. It’s purely on the song itself so with that said, I didn’t know what I expected with this song but it’s not what I pictured. I was a little disappointed with this song, I’M NOT SAYING IT’S BAD, I’m just saying it’s not what I usually look for. I do listen to the song, I don’t skip it since there are parts I like. I will state I like the Mandarin version better, it flows better then the Korean version.
This song reminds me of Kai’s teaser when EXO first released. Teaser 14, where Kai was dancing with his jacket and hat. This song should have been the background to that teaser. It’s smooth and silky, if that even makes sense. It this song had a music video it would be of the boys dressed in suits casually sitting around and singing while snapping their fingers to the beat. For this song I actually prefer the Korean version!
Okay, even though this song sounds like a demented circus in the beginning, I can’t get enough! Off the Korean version, this is my favorite song. To Chanyeol whispering in the back to Kyungsoo and Baekyeon harmonizing. I honestly don’t know what it is about this song but I’m so addicted to it! The Mandarin one is good but I’m more in love with the Korean version.
I noticed this song on my first listen to the album. It’s a song like ‘Hurt’, I don’t know what attracts me to this song but there’s just that something. Unlike ‘Hurt’ however, I like the Mandarin version besides the Korean. I don’t really know what to even say about this song, I just really like it. It’s my favorite on the Mandarin album.
One of the songs that I was looking forward to since it was one of the songs from when EXO first debuted. The song didn’t disappoint at all. It’s literally a beautiful song. It’s not my favorite but I do appreciate it for what it is. It’s one of the few songs that I like both versions equally.
