"Sometimes you go for days on end without realizing it's been a week since you've last had a nice chat with another human being. You get used to the ringing in your ears from such utter silence that it becomes your new best friend. Call me insane, but I find silence comforting." Jongin chuckled lowly as the tip of his index finger circled around the smooth surface of the coffee cup. It's not that he didn't enjoy the company of others, in fact, he was quite sociable and got along with anyone and everyone. But, over the course of the many months that have passed while he was away, it seems that he's been forgotten--possibly erased; eradicated from the memories of those he once knew. He won't admit it but he's afraid, maybe a bit paranoid. He'll get over it and make friends-- eventually. "You'll be my friend, right? Opposites attract or like attracts like. Either way, we'll get along just fine, love."

Sometimes you need to take a step back and look at things through the other person's point of view. While you're sitting there complaining about how everything sucks and going on about how no one talks to you, there's always that one person who's desperately trying to make you feel better regardless of what you say or do. Sometimes we take these people for granted; whether we realize it or not. And really, these people deserve better than what we tend to give them, they really do. This person stays up until the early hours of the morning just so you'd have someone to talk to; someone to confide in when you're sad. They stay logged on for hours until you come on because no matter how much you toss onto them, they'll always greet you with a smile and ask how your day was. They're completely selfless and we take them for granted--sometimes we even forget how important they are to us until they disappear. Let's all just pause for a moment and rethink how we treat some people, hm?
