Best Kiss: Jonny “Egg” Raymond & Spencer Hastings (5x20: Pretty Isn’t the Point)

Jonny (affectionately known as “Egg” on the PLL Subreddit) is a highly underrated character. He’s lovely, and this kiss was satisfying because the amount of sexual tension built up between Spence & Egg had become particularly overwhelming for me. Spegg is my crack!ship forever.

- First spotted way back in 1x03, briefly observing Spencer outside the party! Sequence seems like he arrived with Toby.

- Claims he and his parents left Rosewood when he was a kid. A lie? He was obviously (back) in town for that party.

- Reappears in season 5, hired by Ezra to decorate the “New Brew.”

- Says he’s spent a month in Italy. (Ezra spent time there as well. Could be another link.)

- Lifestyle and possible connection to Ezra suggests Jonny could be the artist who stayed at Ezra’s cabin.

- Rents out the Hastings’ barn, apparently for very little money.

- Tells Aria, “don’t lie to me; I’ll think I aced it and I’ll live to regret it.” (ace = A)

- Claims he spends his days “paddling through a stew of regrets.”

but. I don't think this is Jonny - why? Look at the watch (and face).

What if

the purpose of Jonny’s character is to show Spencer/the girls that Toby is actually sketchy?

I mean he could have easily been lying about being at Hollis to get stuff for Jenna, and actually just followed Spencer there to spy…

It would also explain how he found them at a random ass gas station in the middle of bum fuck nowhere…

I’ve always been aboard the “Toby is definitely sketchy” train since he was revealed as A team.
