wait wait real talk, ser lothor is a knight (which sandor is not) and mya is a bastard (which sansa isn’t either)

mya isn’t a virgin and sansa is, lothor is sober which sandor isn’t, like the relationships constantly anti-parallel each other and i’m 9000% sure that’s intentional

i’m wondering if mya and lothor don’t get together, would that mean that sansa and sandor will…?

Oh, it gets better. Lothor Brune was not a knight when we first met him, he was just a freerider (GRRM’s term for sellswords with their own horse). But – get this – he served in the Battle of the Blackwater and performed a heroic act and was knighted for it.

He is totally Sandor’s next best thing and a perfect anti-parallel.

^^YES, THIS^^, and I’d also like to point out that Alayne likes and feels comfortable enough with Sandor’s “next best thing” to be openly affectionate with him.
