I’ve been thinking Age is kind of a social construct. I mean even the observation of time is something relative.

We didn’t even have all these days in a year even, or even a year. So I mean, not everyone is born with the same maturity. It’s a relative thing, really.

So I’ve come to realize some people are born older than they physically are, and some people younger (premature birth). Who am I to question a 32 year old in a 16 year old body? Or a 24 year old in a 60 year old body? They are what ever they choose to be, regardless of the social constructs that society puts us under.

I do not know if transage is necessarily the correct terminology. Transchronological? (Or would that be a better term for those who identify with a different age than they were born into?)

Exactly. I’ve been feeling the exact same way. I’ve always felt I was much more “mature” than all of my peers. They would say jokes that either wouldn’t make me laugh, or just seemed too cliche’. My tastes in movies/books(not that they read books) is on a whole other level than theirs. Not to sound mean, but I feel like I’m a few years, or even a decade ahead of them.

So I’ve finally figured out that, despite this 22-Year old body, I’m actually 35 years old. I would prefer if people called me “Mr. Jackson” or “Jackson Sr.”, but I’ll let everyone ease into it first. It may be a bit difficult for people to get used to my sudden realization. :)

Thoughts as of Late

So, I’ve been doing some thinking, with the Canadian federal election coming up. I feel like I’m mature enough to vote, but this bullshit Canadian government seeks to oppress people under 18 by not allowing us to vote. Then I did some more thinking, and I thinkI figured out why I feel this need to vote, despite the fact that I’m 17. Some of you may laugh, but I genuinely believe that I’m an 18 year old trapped in the body of someone who’s 17. Make fun of me if you want, but in the end, you’re just a fucking bully, trying to repress my true identity.
