A great fall day up at #tenmilecabin.
Chris Colfer photographed for Barnes and Noble.
A few selects from a fun shoot recently with Rat King Theatre duo Krystalla Pearce and Tessa Allen.
Diana Hardeman, founder of MilkMade Ice Cream in her new Cobble Hill scoop shop (MilkMade Tasting Room). Check out some of her great scoops at 204 Sackett Street, in Brooklyn.
I recently had the pleasure of filming interviews and taking portraits for an upcoming exhibition for the Brooklyn Historical Society exploring the history of hockey in Brooklyn. Amongst the interview subjects was Larry King, Herb Cohen and Joe Giaimo. Keep an eye out for the exhibit this fall to hear some great stories about hockey and growing up in Brooklyn from these gentlemen.
Studio visit with Rich Watts in Brooklyn, NY.
My portrait of Divergent series author Veronica Roth theartofnotwriting at the Union Square Barnes and Noble bookstore in NYC. Commissioned by Barnes and Noble.
My portrait of garychou, founder of Orbital in the Lower East Side, NYC. Take a look at @orbitalnyc. It is indeed “a space to do awesome stuff.”
Vermont welcome center.
I recently visited Sebastian Von Trapp and Molly Semler, cheese makers at Von Trapp Farmstead in Waitsfield, VT to get a glimpse of how their award winning cheese is produced.
Von Trapp Farm has been a family owned working dairy farm since 1959 and more recently has transitioned to a certified organic dairy and cheese making operation.
It was fascinating to witness the process of transforming raw organic milk into cheese curds and then eventually a variety of aged cheeses. I was even lucky enough to walk away with a selection of their goods, which I've been indulging in greatly.
For more info on their artisan cheese, visit: http://www.vontrappfarmstead.com.
Received today. #pdnpromos
My promo (bottom right) arrived safely to PDN!
I spent the 4th of July in upstate NY in Duchess County on the Ten Mile river. The fireflies up there were brighter and denser than I've ever seen. Here's a long exposure attempt at capturing the magic.
I had the pleasure of taking portraits of musicians at the annual Make Music New York event, hosted by NPR Music on the steps of the Brooklyn Public Library this weekend.
Over 350 musicians gathered outside to perform an original composition, 100+ BPM by Red Baraat's Sunny Jain (pictured at top), live for the first time. More images from this event can be viewed here.
Thanks to the team at nprmusic!
Hair stylist Ulisses Ferreira at Ondine Salon in Montpellier, VT.
A fun test shoot with Erin Boyd in Bed-Stuy.
Sunset time-timelapse from the top of Haleakala Crater in Maui.
