Nobody's Perfect.
Everybody has their flaws, but the question is whether the positive traits outweigh the negatives... I can be insecure, jealous, impatient, and dramatic. I overanalyze situations and I may come off as a know it all occasionally. I'm also loyal, trustworthy, respectable, independent, educated, and driven. I've only been with one person and I've never cheated nor lied. My morals and values have shaped me into the person I am today. Take your pick.

This is me on the very first day of school at Featherstone in Woodbridge!! Can't believe in less than a month I will be graduating college and will be done with school for good. I used to LOVE school. I could not wait to start. I cried when my sister went to kindergarten and I had to stay home...so my mom enrolled me in preschool. So Bittersweet.
Miami
Just booked my flight ticket to Miami for May 19!! :) Just staying for two nights then cruise time with the ladies :) Summer can't get here any faster.
Just got my first letter from Christian Jenkins, who is at basic training in Texas!! =) Makes me super excited. <3 miss that kid.
Getting back in shape.
Summer is almost here! I'm finally forcing myself to get back into shape. It's been three weeks of nonstop exercise and dieting and already seeing progress. I feel so much healthier too. Weekends always kill me though. Feel like I take five steps forward during the week and two steps back once the weekend comes. So today I am running 3 miles to the gym..working out for probably an hour..and running 3 miles back home. That way I'm prepared for whatever I indulge in tonight.
I deactivated all my social networks except for this & LinkedIn. Just wanted to say hello & prove that I'm alive :) haha surprised I haven't given in yet.
OVER IT. What a waste of time.
If you can't give me what I deserve..then you don't deserve me. It's as simple as that.

Update.
Just thought I'd write an update on my life right now. As many may know...I just recently got in a relationship after being single for exactly a year. A year ago I went through a break up after being in a relationship for about 3 1/2 years. It had reached that point where we began to question if we really wanted to be together for any longer. Our relationship became more of a routine than anything else. We both began to miss our youth and wanted to live the single life. Well, a year later...unexpectedly...we decided to give our relationship another try. After suppressing our feelings towards each other for an entire year...we finally just let it out. We never ever expected to get back together and I'm still surprised by how quickly it all happened. All it took was one dinner with my friends and family to change everything. All year people asked me how I felt about my ex and I'd say over and over again..."we're good, we're just friends. I'm pretty much over him." I figured the more I said it, the more likely it'd grow to be true. Deep down there were always those feelings. When you find someone you just connect with...you don't want to let that go. I'm not saying that I didn't enjoy being single. I'm 100% okay with being single and living that life. I achieved so much last year that I probably wouldn't have if I didn't go through the break up. I also learned a lot that I can use towards this relationship. I understand the importance of keeping a balance between family, friends, and the boyfriend. I will continue to love, spoil, and take care of my boyfriend just like before, but now I know to love, spoil, and take care of myself as well.
Girls.
One thing I don't understand is how some girls can date or sleep with any guy that shows them attention. Where are your values? Did you not get enough attention while growing up? If so, why does it matter? Learn to be independent and not crave the attention from others. Focus on yourself. Have some respect for yourself and others. No one will respect you if you're out there sleeping with any guy that gives you the time of day. Also, you may find a really good guy that actually cares for you, but you'll mess up a good relationship because as soon as someone else comes along...you'll fall for them. Sex is such a common action nowadays that very few seem to take seriously. I will never understand how others can just sleep around so easily without the worry of pregnancies, diseases, and with the lack of intimacy. It's a sad and scary thought.
