what program u use to draw on ur phone? your art its so pretty!!
Thank you so much ㅠㅠ !! I use ibis paint's free version at the moment, however I am thinking about moving to the subscription plan due to the amount of work I need to back up... But yeah, free version is enough other than that honestly!
Also, I do use a screenless drawing tablet for pen pressure sensitivity. It's an XP pen deco 01 I think?
Thank you for the ask! :] I hope it was helpful ^^;
My MC for The Second Sight!! I still have catching up to do with The Devil and the Wheel... ^^;; But I've been itching to draw an updated portrait of one of my favourite MC's lolol. Her name is MEL!!!
The Second Sight is written by @spoiledblogif !!! It's one of my favourites because of my attachment to Mel and Renard TT
Also because someone said that Renard in their mind dresses like Lestat HAHAHA (this was an excuse to draw Renard I fear)
Also SOME more doodles under....
Spends too much time on her hair.... Step by step routine guys.
I saw this on Pinterest and was like.... That's THEM!!!!
Zora............ Sobsob (thank you to the artist that drew zora!!! I was highly inspired by that rendition!! She's so.... Gorgeous.....)
I loved how I imagined the sparrow mask in my head.... I'm okay-okay with how I executed it lol.
Deux à Deux is an interactive fiction game by Ray Wilson. The game is written entirely in ChoiceScript, and the current demo includes the Prologue, Chapter 1, and Chapter 2. For more details, read on! <3
When you catch the eyes of the fabulous and filthy-rich Lyonses, the gritty New York you’ve known for your whole life cracks open into a world of glamour, money, and power. If you want to change your life, the perfect opportunity has fallen right into your lap: all you have to do is reach out and take it.
That is, as long as you can work around the corporation with its hand in every pocket in the city (or more accurately, the entire country), the criminal syndicate that’s operating just below the surface, and the many skeletons in the Lyonses’ closet. You could have it all if you manage that—but there’s no going back to your old, quiet, mundane life. You’ve got eyes on you now, and the attention of some less-than-savory types with big aspirations of their own.
Like it or not, your life is about to change. Perhaps you’ll greet this new phase of your life with open arms, or perhaps it’ll drag you in kicking and screaming. However you feel about it, you’re more than capable of making your way in this new world.
About the Characters
The Player Character (aka PC). hey, that’s you!
You are a bartender at La Table, a fine dining restaurant in New York City. You’ve lived in the city all your life, so you’d heard for years before working there about how much of a "NYC staple” it is. Unfortunately, you got hired just as the original owner sold it, so it’s a lot less glamorous now than in years past. When you’re (rarely) not working, you pass the time at the boxing gym. People generally consider you charismatic, independent, and clever.
T (Tom/Tess/Tory) Lyons. RO.
T Lyons is cool, composed, and very, very obviously wealthy. They are married to N Lyons, who is a lot more outgoing than they are. They have cold, appraising eyes and seem to mask their perpetual tenseness with impeccable posture. You get the feeling there’s more to T than meets the eye; there’s a certain heavy air that follows them around like a storm cloud. T Lyons is Black, with a dark-skinned complexion and very dark brown eyes.
N (Noah/Natasha/Nico) Lyons. RO.
N Lyons is friendly and charming, their smile almost bright enough to disguise their intensely perceptive gaze. N is a talented conversationalist and they delight in banter. They carry themselves with confidence and have an unmistakably magnetic personality. You get the feeling that N might be even harder to read than their spouse, T. It’s ironic, given how much easier they are to talk to, but maybe that’s how N keeps people from prying too deeply. N Lyons is Mexican-American, with a tanned complexion and dark brown eyes.
Minh Nguyen (gender-variable). RO.
Minh Nguyen is a bit of a jaded, standoffish figure. They’re younger than either Lyons spouse, maybe only a year or two older than you, but they seem much older if only because of their cynical, disillusioned attitude about…well, basically everything. Minh lives with the Lyonses, and also is…dating them? Sleeping with them? Their sugar baby? Honestly, you have no fucking idea what their relationship is. You get the impression Minh has no desire to explain it to you, either. Minh Nguyen is Vietnamese-American, with a deep tan complexion and very dark brown eyes.
Ronnie Burns (gender-variable). RO.
Ronnie Burns is your boxing coach of nearly two years now. They know how to push your buttons more than anyone you’ve ever met, but they also know exactly how to train you to be a better boxer than you ever imagined you’d be. Ronnie is always teasing you, poking fun with little taunts and impish grins, but they backpedal immediately when they think they’ve pushed you too far. Ronnie has gotten nicer to you over time, and now they’re almost sweet sometimes. Almost. Ronnie is Punjabi-American, with brown skin and dark brown eyes.
Erin Pinsky
Erin is a server at La Table who you’ve become friends with over time. She is gregarious, unbelievably self-assured, and a little bit evil. You’re not sure what exactly she does outside of La Table, but she apparently has some sort of cult following in the Manhattan indie underground DIY scene, or something.
Theo Ferreira
Theo is a server at La Table who you’ve also become friends with. He is kind of artsy, kind of moody, kind of just a chill dude. As far as you know, he only works at La Table, but he goes to a lot of neo-noir indie film showings, random performance art events, other shit like that.
Last Few Little Details
Is the main character genderlocked? Are any of the ROs genderlocked?
Nope! The PC of Deux à Deux is gender-selectable, as are the four ROs.
Is there any potentially triggering content in the game?
Yes, there will be. There is an option presented in the very beginning of the game to enable Content Warnings at the start of every chapter.
How long will the game be?
In terms of word count, I really am not sure. But I have 8 chapters outlined, and then a Prologue and Epilogue in addition to those. I have the Prologue through Chapter 2 finished now, leaving 6 more chapters and an epilogue to write.
XO,
Ray <3

We recently had the pleasure of interviewing @thelonelyshore-if, creator of the top-voted IF in the bonus category, The Lonely Shore. See the full list of winners in this category here.
We thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the inspiration and creative process behind the game, and hope you'll enjoy reading it. Just like the IF itself, there's a line in the interview from Theo that truly stuck with me:
There is beauty to be found in surviving–and, more than that, in living. Even when it feels impossible.
It makes perfect sense that Creatures Such as We is one of Theo's favorite games, as The Lonely Shore possesses that same rare quality of lingering in your mind.
About the author
Howdy! I’m Theo. I’m a horror nerd and vampire fan by night; library employee by day. I live with my fiance and my cat. I draw as well as write–I was an artist before I was a writer–and I’ve been known to play a video game or two, when I have the time. Oh! And I play a truly incredible amount of dnd.
About the game
The Lonely Shore is a horror game about getting trapped in a small midwestern town that does not exist.
Tell me a bit about your journey into interactive fiction and what you’re working on right now
Way back in the early days of tumblr I saw a viral post about Choice of the Dragon. I played it and was delighted by the format; I think I played PsyHigh and Creatures Such As We (still an all-time favorite!!) all in a rush, but was broke and in high school so the obsession ended there. During quarantine in 2020 I discovered Fallen Hero (also via tumblr) and fell in love. It’s been over for me ever since.
My active project is The Lonely Shore, which was born from my love for horror and my experiences growing up in a small town. I also have a secondary IF project, Neverland, about vampires that I’ve recently been dipping my toes into.
What was the inspiration for this game, and why did you want to write a story in this genre?
I grew up in a small town in Minnesota, much like the fictional town of Easthaven in my IF. Growing up queer, trans, and neurodivergent led to me always feeling like an outsider; like I didn’t quite understand the world around me. Bundle that up with the inherent smothering feeling of being trapped that comes from small towns…well, the whole experience lends itself well to horror.
The Lonely Shore’s MC is also an outsider who can’t escape. A lot of the emotions I remember feeling are built into the story, even if Easthaven has way more monsters than I encountered.
Are there any themes or messages you hope players take away from your work?
The Lonely Shore includes what I would describe as mundane horror. Terrible things happen, people go missing, monsters are real–but for the people of Easthaven, that’s everyday life. Those aware of the horrors still wake up in the morning in spite of it. They have friends and families; they find strength in their community; and they always manage to find joy in spite of it all.
There is beauty to be found in surviving–and, more than that, in living. Even when it feels impossible.
What’s the one thing you’re really proud of that you’ve written so far? Do you have a favorite character or scene that you’ve written?
I think my favorite scene I’ve written is the chapter 3 Doe scene–it has some fun branching differences, and a lot of writing I love.
I’m probably most proud of the chapter 4 bonfire scene due to the sheer branching involved. It was an absolute beast to write, but now that I’m on the other end I’m really happy with it.
And my favorite characters are probably the teens! I’m very excited now that they’re properly introduced–let the Scooby Doo shenanigans begin ;)
For folks who enjoyed your IF, what other book/music/movie should they check out with the same ‘vibe'?
Lord Huron is like…THE soundtrack to The Lonely Shore for me. Sooo much of their music fits perfectly.
Watch Midnight Mass if you want more of something terrible happening in an isolated small town; watch Haunting of Hill House if you want an excellent story about grief and siblings.
Play Scarlet Hollow for some genuinely awesome small town horror. And also because it is absolutely excellent.
What’re you excited to tackle/implement/work on next?
I’ll be working on Neverland off and on alongside Lonely Shore, and right now I’m very excited to be digging into it. It’s a pretty big vibe shift–messy toxic vampires rather than slow, creeping horror–but the writing I’ve done so far is a lot of fun!
It’s already been pretty refreshing to be able to switch between two very different projects; so I’m excited to continue!
Hey everyone! I just wanted to share this fanart drawn by argo on discord server. They don't have any social media of their own so I asked for permission to post everything here. Please don't repost without permission.

This blog will be a combination of development info, images and music that I associate with the story, and other musings.
Fair warning, there might be spoilers from the latest chapters here, so I recommend catching up before reading too far.

You’re an urban legend in a county full of them. When you were thirteen, you were found passed out in the road by one of the local cops. No missing persons report. No fingerprints on file. No memories. Just a name.
Oh, and some bizarre psychic powers.
You're content with simplicity. You like your isolated cabin and helping Carter track down missing persons. You know that in theory there are more people like you out there, but you've never wanted to look behind the curtain to find out.
But now, you no longer have a choice...
✤✤✤
The Second Sight is an urban fantasy series, where you step into the role of a psychic whose strange powers have always separated them from others. Those same powers will drag you down the rabbit hole and into a world that is both familiar and foreign to everything you know. A world filled with magic, witches, fae, demons, and the unknown.
You can immerse yourself in the story by customizing your protagonist's general appearance, choosing how they interact with others, and whether you lean on logic or intuition to problem solve. There are three love interests planned (more may be added depending on player reception and feedback), the genders of which will be selected by the player upon meeting them.
Characters
Jacob Carter
Age: Late forties
Race: Human. Definitely.
Gender: Male
Temperament: Carter radiates grizzled, old bastard energy and despite being the least paternal person in the world, he is your adoptive father. While surly and rough around the edges, he is also fiercely protective of you and has bent over backwards to give you a decent life. He doesn't talk about his life before coming to Herman County and you haven't asked him, though that might change soon enough...
✤✤✤
Renard/Rowan
Age: Appears to be in their late twenties or early thirties
Race: Human. Maybe.
Appearance: Tall and slender, white-blonde hair, and gold eyes.
Temperament: Playful and witty, talking to R always feels like a game of cat and mouse and you can never be sure which role is yours. Part sad clown, part trickster, and always maddening to work with, the only things you can be certain of with R is that they probably know what they're doing. Everything else is up in the air.
✤✤✤
Zander/Zora
Age: Late twenties/Early thirties
Race: Human. Mostly.
Appearance: Umber brown skin, black locs, grey eyes
Temperament: Gentle and resolute, Z isn't what you imagine when you think of an agent of the mysterious Magic and Anomalies Bureau. Kind, soft-spoken, and exceedingly polite, Z is Carter's former apprentice and something about them puts the old man on edge.
✤✤✤
Unknown aka "The Kestrel"
Age: ???
Race: Definitely not human.
Appearance: Tall, beautiful, elegant, with black hair and blue eyes.
Temperament: The Kestrel is a complete unknown. It's impossible to say whether they are a lethal ally or deadly enemy, but either way they are a powerful dreamwalker. You don't know how long they've been watching you, but you're willing to bet that it's been longer than you're comfortable with.
✤✤✤
This series includes strong language, sexually suggestive material, violence, emotional/physical/mental abuse, slavery, and other mature topics. Not recommended for those under 18.

Here at Soulmates Inc we specialize in chance meetings!
Love happens.
It takes by the storm. It is lucky, it is cruel, it makes no sense, it elevates. It is beautiful, it rears its ugly head, then it is beautiful once again. Now that, humans can manage on their own.
Soulmate-grade connection is an entirely different brand. Enter you. That's your brand. It requires dedicated labor. Whimsical meetings. Nuance.
As a soul-link, you arrange for those destined matches to happen using the powers of glamor at your disposal. An ancient practice, really, though, as with everything, it has evolved and happily marched with the times. You work out of an office, have a phone plan, a lease, and a favorite restaurant. Your boss is not a half-naked man with a bow and arrows but a fashionably dressed man who goes to a gym and drives an electrical Mustang.
It is nice. Modern.
Just one rule. The only rule, in fact. A scripture, if you will: never interact with a soul directly.
Which is precisely why your most recent half-match staring at your confused face is so damn bad. Worse yet, they can see right through your glamor for some reason.
Now what?..
love is all around you but it does not have to be for you: play as aro, ace, bi, gay or straight. Your romantic prospects are three, but each has a story to tell
explore who you are: a firm and enthusiastic believer, a burned-out office worker, or a skeptical soul-link questioning their purpose
use and evolve your soul-link powers: Empathy and Shroud
keep up with your job duties and bring people together while trying to protect your employer from a greater looming threat
someone is throwing around heavy words like 'destiny', but dealing with existential questions is entirely optional!
Amber | Andrew Wyatt
Once a high-performer soul-link, they flew too close to the sun and snooped around where one does not snoop around. Having fallen from grace at a company that believes in chances, Wyatt is back on probation, though under your supervision. The light is snuffed out of their eyes, and instead of being a firm believer, Wyatt now drips disillusioned pearls of what they think is wisdom.
A languid redhead who wears sunglasses more often than not.
Samuel | Samantha C. Powell
Sam has a steady job, does weekly family visits and always parks the bike properly. How do you learn that? Sam is also your sparkling new charge, a common everyperson, a salt of the earth—nope, not that simple at all! You cannot seem to find their soulmate (never happens) and they can see through your glamor (never happens either). To be fair, Sam is freaked out by it, too.
Your sporty charge in a wrinkle-free T-shirt with a mess of locs held back by a band.
Martin | Mia Romero
A hectic ball of energy that is a human person, they are passionate about their distaste for your employer's business and are happy to go in length about it. Romero is messy, yet strangely put together in their belief: a hurricane that may sweep you off your feet if you are not careful enough. They know things, things no human should. You should probably report that to your boss...
A city dweller with hair tied sloppily in a short low ponytail, perfectly matched with dramatic eyebags.
You weren’t sure what to make of it. A cryptic late night text sent from your younger sibling, begging you to meet up at your family’s old lake home. The plea for help was as concerning as it was confusing. As far as you knew, neither of you had set foot in the cabin in a decade. You had your hesitations, but Willow seemed desperate. You couldn’t help but oblige.
Everything goes downhill fast when Willow's research into childhood ghost stories lands you in a town that doesn't exist. A town where people go missing at an alarming rate, where things that aren't quite human run businesses with hungry eyes, where time runs differently.
A town you can't leave.
Something about Easthaven is wrong. A supernatural fog permeates the town, so thick you could choke…but you’re one of the only people who seems to notice it. You’re quick to realize the fog keeps the residents ignorant, keeps them passive, keeps them trapped. When people who have long since gone missing start coming back home, you realize Easthaven’s mysteries go deeper than you could have ever imagined.
Explore the magic and the horrors of the small town of Easthaven, team up with the few others who can see through the fog, and do everything you can to make your way back home.
The Lonely Shore is an 18+ supernatural horror story (and mystery) inspired by works such as Midnight Mass, The Mist, Scarlet Hollow, and Gravity Falls. A story about how sometimes places can feel like people, how easy it is to do terrible things for those we love, and how small towns have a way of eating you alive.
FEATURES:
Play as male, female, or nonbinary; trans or cis. Choose up to two sets of pronouns or input your own. Customize your appearance and develop your personality throughout the game.
Romance or befriend a cast of characters. Options for ace and aro routes, as well as three polyamorous paths.
Customize Willow, your younger sibling. Select their gender and determine what your relationship with them is. Will you rebuild a broken relationship? Or let a good one go down in flames?
Explore the world of Easthaven, a town that exists outside of time, separated completely from the rest of the world. A place where tragedy is mundane and death is around every corner. Encounter the Fog, the source of all of Easthaven’s horrors.
Build up to one of five distinct magic styles as your character comes to life; including necromancy, clairvoyance, manipulating the Fog, becoming something monstrous–or suppressing your magic instead, having it come out in uncontrollable bursts.
Solve the mystery of the Returned: citizens who have been missing for months, years, decades but who have recently started coming back home.
CHARACTERS:
Jaylen 'Jay' Jones (M/F)
A veterinarian-in-training and member of the town's Search & Rescue team who has seen Easthaven's horrors firsthand. A kindhearted but wary person who cares more about keeping people safe than they do about solving the town's mysteries. They're tired of losing people.
Yasmin Bakir-King (F)
The local librarian, a fiercely clever widow with very little patience for nonsense. Very outgoing, she's one of the most well-known figures in town. She starts the story unaware of Easthaven's dangers but very quickly gets thrust into the middle of the town's latest mystery.
Amir/Amara "Croft" (M/F)
A reclusive, ill-tempered horror author who just so happens to be the town's latest newcomer…until you show up. Croft came to town with their share of secrets, and there's nothing in the world they want more than to escape Easthaven.
Beck Dawn (genderfluid)
Fun-loving and reckless, Beck is an adrenaline junkie who can't seem to stay out of danger…despite being completely unaware of the town's secrets. A magnet for trouble, it's no surprise Beck lands right in the middle of Easthaven's latest mystery.
Ravi Singh (M)
Easthaven's local mortician. Ravi is easygoing and quick to laugh; though sometimes his humor leans towards the macabre. But his easy smiles don't cover up his almost chilling comfort with the Fog; nor do they get rid of the pile of skeletons in his closet.
Perri Loveless (M/F/NB)
Runs one of Easthaven's three radio stations. In the day they play music, and at night they host a supernatural-themed call in radio show, The Lonely Shore. Perri is an enthusiastic (if a bit awkward) person whose theories tend towards the unbelievable. It's unfortunate that, despite all of their theories, Perri has no idea what's actually going on in Easthaven.
And…
"Willow" (M/F/NB)
Your little sibling. Flighty, impulsive, and outgoing; their fascination with the occult is what lands you in Easthaven. Your relationship can range from best friends to sworn enemies. Will they be able to save you from the mess they've made?
