"Thank you." He says as he heads towards his room. "I’ll see you around."
"Sure thing." He walks back onto the elevator and the doors close behind him.

"Thank you." He says as he heads towards his room. "I’ll see you around."
"Sure thing." He walks back onto the elevator and the doors close behind him.
"Third floor, room 308."
"Alright, it's uh--" He points down a hallway. "It's right down there on your left." He gives Ivan a huge smile. "You should be all set, buddy."
He shrugs. “It’s alright,” he proceeds to walk out of the elevator and after Jordan.
"So where'd you say your room was again?"
"Oh really? Never been there before, is it nice?" He steps in after him.
"Uh, I don't remember much of it actually. So, I dunno. It's probably better than here though." He presses the button to the third floor. Once they reach the third floor he walks off the elevator and looks around. "How's Scotland?"
"Scottland. You from around here?"
"Nah, my parents immigrated here from Mexico when I was... god, five? Six?" He shrugs. "But I know this place better than there, so whatever." They arrive at an elevator and Jordan presses the up button. Once the door dings open he steps on.
"I went to the academy, overseas, trained there for a while and Aiden invited me here."
"Really? Is that right? Where overseas?"
"Yeah, I’ve found some help. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many hunters in one place before. You been here long?"
"Me? Oh, like a little less than a year. I'm not really good at this kind of thing, but I'll get there eventually. How'd you get into it?"
"The red ones are that great, in my opinion. Not yet, no. It seems like he is really busy with something. Not sure what."
He shrugs and turns a corner. "Well, you know how it is. He's a busy guy being a head hunter and all. If you need help a lot of people here are pretty great at helping out."
"Tristan," he says as he follows behind him.
"Tristan's a good name. I had a friend named Tristan. Like in, what sixth grade or something? He used to share his gummy bears with me. Just the red ones. He hated that flavor. Anyway, you're new, right? Aiden show you the ropes yet?"
"Sure, that sounds great. Thank you— I didn’t get your name."
"Jordan. Yours?" He walks around Ivan and heads back down to the first floor.
"East? I think Aiden said that I’d be in the West wing, third floor?"
He laughs. "It's alright, I got lost my first time here too. How 'bout I show you the way?" He asks. Though despite asking, he doesn't wait for answer and jumps down the first flight of stairs. He lands on his feet and stands upright in front of Ivan. "It's just this way, it'll only take like, five minutes I think."
He blinks a few times, glancing up at the man. “Hi. I’m sort of lost, would you mind telling me where I am right now?”
"Yeah, you're in the East wing of the Vaduva main house. Second floor. Where're you trying to go?"
Jordan sits at the top of some stairs in the Vaduva mansion. He can hear the approach of someone as their footsteps, though muffled through carpet, make their heavy approach up the steps toward him. Once they round the corner on the first landing, he grins at the top of their head and waves when they look up. "Hey there."
And so, Elliot began, “—It was cold that night,” He was already looking down at the wood flooring of the section in the library they resided in, but it wasn’t because Elliot was afraid of meeting Jordan’s eyes— No, Elliot was content with sharing this piece of history. Especially to someone who resembled a stranger and already knew he wasn’t of the living anymore. It was just a matter of recalling the occurrence of events the transpired during that single dismal Winter’s night. “I was to graduate from University soon. Everyone said that I was unusually intelligent for my age. It’s why I never went into the family business— hunting things,” He shook his head. “My parents, the ones who adopted me, they saw that I had potential to shine elsewhere. Hunting is Aiden’s place to shine. We all knew it. But…” Elliot’s gaze returned to Jordan, looking up. “I guess that’s not how things quite worked out.”
Elliot inhaled, a breath rolling in past the pink of his lips. He could feel a warmth inside his chest. A place he hadn’t felt anything for a while. Decidedly, he moved his hand, palm up, offering it to Jordan to take. “…Take my hand and I can show you what happened.”
Jordan feels a moment of excitement rise in his chest. His heart quickens and he feels lighter. This wasn't something Jordan experienced before, and it's been a long time since he's felt the weight of learning something unknown ringing in his ears. He takes Elliot's hand and waits for something to happen.
Megan doesn’t have much of a reaction, her features staying rather placid as she straightened back up. “Don’t complain.” She clenched her fists once more.
"—Again. Block me." She sends a hit, flying at the right side of Jordan, once again. This time her move is fueled with a little bit more thrust than the previous.
Her fist is coming at him once again, and he brings his hands up to block her. He puts more solidity into his muscles and his palm meets her fist with a loud smacking sound.
“Of course,” Elliot nodded, accepting Jordan as being sincere and honest. “—I’m glad that we can provide a roof over your head for when you need it, then…” The blond took a moment to breathe as he decided where he was to start with the tale of his demise. “I apologize for taking so much of your time,” He cleared his throat and sat up straighter in the chair next to Jordan. “I’ll begin now, if that’s all right with you?” As Elliot asked his question, he looked upon Jordan.
"Yeah, I'm good with it if you're good with it." He settles himself into the chair more comfortably.
