Merry Christmas to  MyNameIsBorkyBarnes! I drew them for the StuckyThorki Secret Santa Event. You have NO idea how difficult it was to keep this a secret for two months. Haha. I loved drawing this awesome prompt. Mermaids? Heck yeah cool. I hope you like it, Borky!

Hello everyone and welcome to the StuckyThorki Secret Santa Event for 2016.

We had an absolutely wonderful outcome for our very first Secret Santa last year and we are so excited to be holding the event once more. We hope to have a great turn out and have even more people participate this year. Below you will find all you need to sign up and join us in creating amazing fiction and art for Stucky and Thorki, and to make new friends during the several months this event runs. 

DATES AND INSTRUCTIONS:

To join, please fill out either the Stucky Application or the Thorki Application before August 20th. If you’re feeling exceptionally adventurous, please feel free to do both.

You must be following @stuckythorki (so you don’t miss any updates/new information).

You must reblog this post (we’d love to get as many people joining this great event, but we need your help to spread the word).

Make sure that your ask and submit boxes are open and are easy to find on your blog. You may also want to be sure your ‘Allow Anonymous Questions’ option is switched on as your Secret Santa may contact you during the course of the event (and vise-versa).

Once applications are closed, the blog Admins will match you to your Secret Santa and send you a notification with the identity of your partner between August 25th - September 5th. This should allow for plenty of time to create your gift. We will not be accepting any latecomers this year, if you miss signs up, there will be no exceptions.

Another change this year, once applications are closed we will be posting a link to a google doc which will allow the gift givers to view exactly what their recipient would like. You will not be able to edit or change anything in the document, but this should allow everyone more detail to work with and will be word for word what their recipient has requested.

Once you’re paired with your partner, participants will have until December 25th to create their gifts.

We will also be doing check ins on October 1st, September 1st and November 1st. During these check ins, we simply wish to be sure everyone is still on board with giving their gift.

If at any time you decide you must pull out of the event, please let us know as soon as possible (the sooner you let us know, the easier it will be for us to organize a replacement Santa so your recipient doesn’t miss out).

If for any reason you are unable to have your gift ready for the deadline and need more time, please send one of the Admins an ask as soon as possible. We will do our best to work something out. We can not stress this enough. We have no problem working with you to come up with a way to resolve the problem, but we can’t help you if you don’t let us know.

Also remember (and this is a pretty big one), that this is a Secret Santa, so please don’t tell the person you’re paired with that you are their Santa. However, we do encourage contacting them via anon, only if you so choose to do so. This will allow you to learn a bit more about what they would like and give you the chance to make new friends.

Gifts will be revealed between December 23rd and December 25th. Gifts can be posted on your blog starting December 23rd. They can also be posted on other personal blogs/deviantart/pixiv/AO3 etc from December 23rd, but the gifts must be at least posted on their Tumblr and tagged Stuckythorki Secret Santa 2016 within the first 5 tags so that we can easily locate all the created works gifted to their recipients. This will also help us to make the Master Collection List after the event.

There’s no limit to how many gifts you want to give. If you wish to give multiple gifts, please say so on your application (or you can contact one of the Admins here).

If you change your tumblr url, or register under a side vs main blog, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make sure everyone is partnered correctly.

If you gift a fic, please ensure it is a minimum of 500 words.

RULES:

We listened to your feedback after last year’s event and thus, the rules for this year’s content submission have been changed, so please read them closely.

Dub-Con/Non-Con and drug use will be allowed this year, but must be tagged clearly and appropriately. If you have any questions in regards to dub-con/non-con or drug use content, please contact Admin Sonia ONLY, as Admin Magic will ignore all related material for personal reasons.

Any gift not appropriately tagged will not be featured in the Secret Santa collection.

However, we will still not allow animal/child abuse/harm*. This content will have you automatically banned from this and all future Events we host.

If a gift is submitted or posted that does not comply to these few rules, it will not be featured in the Event, reblogged on the Stuckythorki blog or be added into the Gift Master List Collection.

If you have any questions feel free to send us an ask anytime. Both Admins (yes only two of us for this entire Event) are on different time zones, so be patient and we will respond as quickly as possible.

Most importantly, the aim of this event of course is to have fun! So please reblog and join in.

Hey...I just wanted to let you know you have absolutely gorgeous nsfw art. The way you draw poses and expressions really just brings something to the artwork I don't often find. I mean, it's incredibly hot, but there's also emotion there and I love that.

Inside a too large cabin settled in a secret location, Steve and Bucky sat on the floor under soft lamp light. Sure, the place had furniture. A couch being among them, but it was far from their idea of comfortable. Much too squishy, and sank in the middle. So here they were. Steve's back pressed to the wall, legged crossed, and Buck's head laying in his lap, book perched on his chest.

Bucky's voice was low but clear as he read aloud from the novel he was holding opposite the light. Steve hummed a sigh when Bucky's words trailed off, and he would clear his throat and speak up as he read further. Steve's fingers threaded through his friend's hair, rubbing his scalp absently. It had become their nightly ritual. Bucky would take his hair down, lie in Steve's lap, and Steve would slowly scratch and massage away. Bucky seemed to enjoy it, but he never asked, and Steve never offered. This was just the way it was. Had been for days.

After a long while, when dusk had settled in and Bucky's words began to soften again, Steve's fingers slowed to a stop. It was almost deafeningly quiet, aside from bugs chirping away outside. Steve's skin itched, so he broke the silence. "Something on your mind, Buck?" he whispered. As if someone would hear them. They were miles away from anyone else. Bucky just closed the book and lifted his chin to look up at Steve upside down. "Why are we here?" He asked in a mono toned, basic information gathering way. Steve chuckled, but the truth of it was nothing to laugh at.

They were so far away from civilization because it was July, and there was no way to control Bucky's fight or flight instincts when it came to a holiday that was inevitably associated with explosions. Fury had insisted that they go away for a while, considering what had happened at Steve's birthday party last year. Courtesy of Tony Stark, and complete with hundreds of people Steve had never met before. As soon as the fireworks began, Bucky instantly dropped the plate of untouched cake he'd been holding. He broke the arm of someone unluckily standing too close, knocked the wind out of Steve, and cut through a crowd of people to get away from what he'd thought was gun fire. They didn't find the ex-assassin for three days. He was discovered in a warehouse bunker, behind a makeshift shield of metal shelves, and would only come out after Steve joined him and assured him that the war was over. It took two hours, and the promise that Steve wouldn't leave him alone.

Steve shook the memory off, and looked down on Bucky with soft adoration. "It's my birthday, Buck." Steve pushed a stray lock of hair from the man's face and smiled. "Do you remember?" Bucky just looked absently past his golden hair and shook his head. Steve's heart ached every time the answer was 'no', but there was no helping it. Things would only come back to him in time. Steve was infinitely patient, but that didn't make it hurt any less. Maybe if Bucky did remember one day, Steve could show him fireworks again. Take him to a fair, eat junk food, cotton candy, and maybe one day... He'd kiss Steve again like they had at the top of the ferris wheel. Full, and loving, and on his birthday. For now, he was content with a quiet celebration. With Bucky's head resting in his lap, and the words of a good story in his ear.
