I really enjoyed writing these, did default to gem!reader for simplicity! There are poly hcs and character focused.
I hope you can multitask because all these gems want your time and attention.
Dating four normal gems would be tiring enough, same with one diamond. But dating the whole diamond authority? I pray for you.
There will be very little alone time in this relationship, even when they’re all busy, they’ll try (with varying success) to stop you from being lonely.
But this often means there's little middle ground with being overwhelmed with all their affection, and being lonely due to them running homeworld.
It’s not often they’ll have time to cuddle, but the ones who indulge you the most are Blue and Pink. Mostly happening in Blues Onsen.
This pairing are suckers for cuddles, so they’re more than happy to indulge.
As mentioned below, White will leave you covered in lipstick marks and all the diamonds chuckle about it. Blue will help you clean them off every time, and you’re glad she doesn’t wear lipstick either as you wouldn’t be getting any cleaner.
This also means you get special privileges and clearances due to your relationship, but there are still some places you can’t go. Mainly Yellows bubble chamber, none of them want you to worry or even be scared by the sight.
You might have belonged to a single court before, but not anymore. They’re all helping to design your new appearance to show off, now a part of all four courts.
Plenty of gems will react with confusion to outright disapproval, not that any of them will say anything. And the few that do… won’t be anymore.
She doesn’t use your actual name unless it’s something serious, so all you hear from her are pet names. They’re slight variations of ‘Starlight’ and ‘My Star’.
When it’s her time to keep you around you’ll be held in her hands, moved to her shoulders if she needs both hands for something.
Gladly indulges in pda, apart from the other diamonds, who would oppose her? This does leave you with lipstick marks every time.
Uses a mix of pet names and your actual name, though any given pet names are strictly for private use. The only exception is when something serious happens, then she can’t help but let one pet name slip.
Doesn’t carry you around often (as the others do that most of the time) but when she does, you’re staying on her shoulder, it’s safe and she knows where you are.
No pda, will not initiate it and will not give in if you try. One of the other diamonds will have to push before she does, even then it’s quick and she’s clearly blushing.

Has no shame giving you all kinds of affection, uses her status of being the smaller and youngest diamond to her advantage.
Rose doesn’t get a chance to see you up and close again for the next 1000 years.
When she appears and ‘poofs’ Pink Diamond, the others make a point of keeping you close and never leaving Homeworld. Even under the strict supervision of the three, it’s really hard to convince them.
The Crystal Gems are aware of your relationship, though they may be less than happy about it they won’t try to pull you apart.

Summary: You’re dating the fusions of the Crystal Gems (Pearl, Garnet, Amethyst)
Her love language is a mashup of physical touch and words of affirmation, if she had to only have one (which would need her to think for a hot minute), it would have to be physical touch.
Adores you too much not to keep picking you up, loves hearing your voice when she suddenly does it. Cannot keep her many hands off you.
This only increases as she can’t be around all the time no matter how much you both would love that, so she takes all the chances she can get with you. It’s becoming an often sight to watch her rush off with you after any fights she was needed for, returning to the temple later with Garnet and Pearl.
Even if you don’t see her when she’s formed either Garnet or Pearl (mostly Garnet, she likes seeing you happy) will hand you a bouquet of flowers, they’re a mix of orange and your favourite type and colour.
She has no shame with pda, gladly calls you every kind of pet name she can come up with. (You’re pretty sure Pearl and Garnet are trying to embarrass you after all this time)
She’s such a gentle lover, doesn’t matter if you’re a simple human or a gem that’s been through the war, she does her best to be conscious of her strength.
So when she carries you she’ll sit you on her shoulder or in the open palm of her many hands.

Physical touch is a close second, it mostly comes from her love of you and just having you in her hands, knowing you trust her. But also keeps her from forgetting you’re with her, very conscious of her hands so when you're in them, she finds it very hard to forget.
She doesn’t have any abilities to make you gifts (like Sardonyx) so she goes looking for anything you might like, because of how stable this fusion is, Garnet is content to let her look around on her own, but might join her just because.
If you’re with her then she’s bringing you along, pointing out anything you might like and bringing it closer to look at.
If not then Pearl and Amethyst bring back Opals gifts, and it’s such a range of what they bring back. One day you’re given a whole flower bush then the next she’s handing you some ancient weapon. (Which Pearl will teach you to use if you want)
She’s such a show off, we all know this, but she doubles down now that you’re with her. Loves getting a reaction from you, prefers you excited and yelling for her, not at her.
If she had to choose a love language it would be physical touch, loves holding and carrying you around, helps when she starts showing off, knows that you’re safe.
Quality time is a very close second but that's just her showing off to you, cannot get enough of doing that. Will gladly bring you along when she starts destroying things.

I kinda assumed gem!hybrid and ran with it, I am pretty proud of this one.
It wasn’t everyday someone new moved to Beach City, but most of those newcomers never stayed long after something else attacked the place. And they were always normal humans.
That’s what makes him and the other gems expected with the person, which was weird enough, it wasn’t a family or a group, it was a single person. A teenager.
He didn’t mean to spy on you but he couldn’t help it, walking past the bus stop as you stepped off. The wind was worse than usual, just enough for the sun to hit something sitting on your chest, shining and catching his attention.
Not able to notice what type of gemstone yours is before you’re walking off, pulling out a piece of paper. Aged, taped where edges have torn, and the page was full of writing. You never stopped looking around as you walked, partly worried, and confused. Soon enough you left his sight, and the sun was setting so he returned to the temple.
In between bites Steven spoke, ignoring Pearl telling him to stop, about the new person in town, cutting himself off before mentioning the shine. That was something he wanted to figure out before saying anything about it.
Over the next few days he kept seeing you sneak around the city, well, not sneaking around really. But every time he tries to get closer and talk, you just run off.
Not for long! As Steven makes a plan to finally talk to you.
So during the night, he sneaks out of the house. Moving around the city until he finds you also moving about, and when you got close enough he jumped out.

You thought you would be able to defend yourself well enough as the gems wielded their weapons, but Steven stood in front of you. Not letting them get close until they put away their weapons.
Obviously they were shocked, another half-gem? Steven on the other hand was excited, there was someone like him.
Pulls you into his training sessions, while he loves the gems training got boring when it was just him, but now you’re here. Asks to spar and fight so much, he finds it so fun. Amethyst keeps score every time, cheering for whoever she feels like that day. (It’s mostly you)
Wants to know what you and your gem can do, the gems (being Pearl and Garnet, maybe Amethyst pops by) will happily help you figure it out.
When you do something new or well he’ll pull you into a hug, celebrating even if it’s something small.
If you’re dating will give you kisses, and he always does the loud ‘mwah’ after. He will not stop.
Will ask to fuse, unless you make it clear you’re uncomfortable, he will keep asking until it happens. And when you agree he plans out the day, where, when, everything. Wants it to be perfect.
It doesn’t happen as planned, you two and the gems were on a mission, it was meant to be quick and simple. To help you get your bearings, when everything went sideways.
The corrupted gem smashed a nearby building which sent chunks of stone flying, Steven rushed over to push you out of the way. With a flash you two had fused!
The gems were shocked but quickly turned to keep fighting, you and Steven took longer. He was more used to this than you were but you picked it up soon enough, using your newfound abilities to take down the corrupted gem.
Neither of you wanted to unfuse for a while, so you spent the day figuring your new self out.

Sucker for cuddles, nearly every time the gems enter Stevens room you two are cuddled up together. They find it adorable, especially Garnet. She’ll let you two sleep in more often than not when it happens.

It was hard to miss your girlfriend coming back to your shared apartment, but you did somehow. Apparently you were too busy setting up for the night ahead, having overheard how busy she’s been from other members of the Society of Battle Connoisseurs. So you started prepping ahead of time so she could relax as soon as she returned. Most of your time was spent planning different ideas but none needed much time to actually set up.
