emilia-blake
Emilia’s cheeks flushed pink as she bit her lip to keep from reflecting the same smile back at him. She had absolutely no idea what she was doing, she had just met this guy but… the brunette didn’t mind the swooping feeling in her stomach as much as she thought she might.
“I didn’t have a lot of time to pack,” she admitted. “It was all pretty rushed.” That was certainly true. Emilia hadn’t known how much time she would have before the shock wore off and Dan had come after her even angrier than he’d been before.
“The small town life,” she noted. “Do you ever wish it was bigger? Or that you were in LA?”
Josh smiled again, there was definitely something endearing in seeing her blush, besides it must have been a good sign right? Now if only he could keep Stiles and their shared past out of the matter. Sure it felt bad lying to her, a lot actually, but she was not from Beacon Hills, she didn’t look like she knew about all the supernatural mess and definitely didn’t want to be the one who brought the issue into her life. Yeah, let’s say it was just that.
“How come? I mean if I can ask.” He raised his brows, giving her a worried look. “Everything alright?” It was funny, even if they have known each other for just a few minutes Josh still felt somewhat protective of her, in fact she hoped she was fine and didn’t have to run away from something nasty back at home. It made sense though, why else would she move to town anyway?
He chuckled, yeah seventeen years old boy being asked ‘do you ever wish it was bigger?’
“Nah…” He smirked. “Works fine for me.” God that was cheesy, he lowered his eyes.
“I mean well, LA is pretty cool, but this is home right?” He shrugged, besides he didn’t know if the spell that brought him back will end or something if he left town, so for now at least, he was struck. “It isn’t as bad as I pictured it, I can show you around once you get properly settled if you like.”
“Going to go at Beacon Hills high?”
