The energy of introspection (2018) Enlarged risograph wheatpaste, 3m iridescent film. At the The Packing Plant - In my line of sight, a peripheral epiphanny of composition. This roof to that roof, the vantage point of gratitude observed. And now today, the energy of a reflection so pronounced between us. This theta of introspection is illuminated; I am a vibration of habit.
12' x 6' wheatpaste collaboration with Zach Halfhill. As he launched a clothing line to commemorate Rock Against Racism's 40 year annniversary, I was working on new alley gallery space at the rear of the Packinng Plant in Nashville. I loved the message, so I tried to complement his energy, sentiment, and panels built for the installation. (2018) The risograph dot pattern scales in such a beautiful way. The 1:1 original print 11.5" x 5.75" is available if you'd like one. Just email me.
A #risograph assemblage of a variety of paper, colors, and prints of an a protest image. Distracted police. (2018)

Grand Palace print shop, located inside Nashville’s Fort Houston, threw a print party in celebration of their 3rd anniversary of that workspaces opening. The party ruled, and this Girl “Mouse” / School House Rock doodle ended up on some shirts. I love that school house rock song more than I should probably, but I thank Spike Jonze for that.Â

Virginia Wolfe on language: "we refuse words their liberty. We pin them down to one meaning, their useful meaning, the meaning which makes us catch the train, the meaning which makes us pass the examination. And when words are pinned down they fold their wings and die. Finally, and most emphatically, words, like ourselves, in order to live at their ease, need privacy. Undoubtedly they like us to think, and they like us to feel, before we use them; but they also like us to pause; to become unconscious. Our unconsciousness is their privacy; our darkness is their light..."

Got to put some ideas in motion back in April with my old friend Chris Denney / Denney and the Jets for a video off his latest record. Had a blast making this with George Pauley.Â
I did the art for the Mexican Coke LP also :) (*this image was pulled from Google)Â
Buy his record, its great!
A secret Jeff the Brotherhood show poster I made back in May; they had to be the Doctor Pepper Blues Band for Bonnaroo contract reasons I believe (don't quote me on it haha). The process making it felt like a lesson. I had the initial idea for the overlapping and gave myself 1 hour to create it and then 20 or so minutes to prep it for print, web, etc. It felt like a race, and i'm still referencing it for incoming projects.
