ATTENTION GMW FANS WHO WANT A SEASON 4
With all that’s happening with this campaign, #planes4gmw, the Twitter campaigns, etc., the petitions seem to be slowing down a little.
THIS petition: https://www.change.org/p/netflix-continue-girl-meets-world-on-another-network is going to Netflix/Hulu asking them to pick up GMW. It has about 18.1k signatures. Current goal is 25k. Let’s see if we can get there soon.
THIS petition: https://www.change.org/p/the-walt-disney-company-petition-for-disney-channel-to-release-girl-meets-world-to-another-network is equally important but getting far less attention. It’s going to Disney Channel asking them to release the rights. It has barely 6.4k signatures. Current goal is 7.5k. Let’s see if we can’t reach that goal by Friday hmm?
Sign as yourself, if you’ve already signed, sign for your parents, your siblings, your friends, your friends’ parents, your friends’ siblings, your distant relatives, your cat, your dog, etc. But SIGN.
I’m now tagging people with a lot of followers in hopes they’ll reblog so more people see this and remember the VERY VERY IMPORTANT PETITIONS.

LET’S GO GO GO!!!

“I want my daughter to start watching it instead of this iCarly non sense and other shows that have no education value.”
Netflix Customer Service Live Chat:
Me: I would like for Netflix to pick up a show that has been recently cancelled and I needed to ask someone how to most effectively go about doing that.
Gabby, Netflix Representative: Oh, you mean Girl Meets World?
I AM NOT SHITTING YOU.
(Edit: She then continued to tell me that they hear us, and to keep requesting on the website, it helps a lot and they are considering investing)
Saving Girl Meets World
Hey fam! So just a few things:
I called Netflix and had a conversation with one of the reps. They said that (and this is important) every day they give the feedback they get to their executives. The representative also politely told me that he would pass on the notes to his supervisor who would then pass it on to the executives. You guys… We can’t squander this opportunity. GO GO GO!
You guys. Call them. Tweet at them. Especially go on Facebook. There is no better time than the present to be persistent. Netflix actually hears us! If we’re persistent enough we might actually save our show. Put your recommendations in this form for Girl Meets World: https://help.netflix.com/en/titlerequest
Also big props to @bmwwritinggmw, @summonerserahheart, and the entire fandom for coming together for this effort.
Also, I have a few choice words for Disney. I’m not big on calling out or insulting people either. I’m strictly about the analysis. BUT, I need to say this.
Honestly… Disney you’re a deplorable channel. It shouldn’t be any surprise why no one watches your network. You would rather have nonsense shows on your network then have amazing, nuanced, well-thought out shows with an amazing female lead on your channel. And while I’m not aware of why you decided to cancel, all of the statistics said you shouldn’t have. You lack direction and quality leadership. As a Business Major, I understand the IMPORTANCE of leadership and your network is in need of an overhaul.
It’s 2017. Your thoughts and ideas about what makes a good show are prehistoric. Your channel is regressing. Your viewers will not have the opportunity to learn and grow from your content because it’s just not there anymore. I feel bad for your viewers, and I also feel bad for those who are taking the heat for this bad decision.
I really hope you guys can get your shit together - cause honestly this was fucking bullshit. There was no reason for this to happen, but I’m glad we have an opportunity to move it to Netflix, a service provider that actually cares about it’s customer base.
And a huge fuck you for using us just to boost your ratings on social media just so you can cancel the show like that.
Anyways, imma continue to watch the last three episodes, and I hope there are so many viewers that Disney realizes how they dun fucked up.
Keep the hustle strong you guys! I am so proud to be a part of this fandom! I love you all so much! :D :D

Guys it's working
Freeform didn’t listen. I called Netflix through their customer service line, and told the man I was speaking to that I would hang up right now if he was busy, because I have no intentions of being disrespectful. He told me he had time to talk, and asked what was going on. I told him that Girl Meets World was cancelled , and asked if there was any way Netflix could pick it up. I see all of the links in which you can request a show, but I feel like the word will spread through Netflix easier if people call their line and speak directly to them. This was my philosophy behind calling instead of emailing. Word spreads quicker. Their number is 1 (866) 579-7172. Stand behind me? Stand behind us? All we need is support here. He told me all we needed was support.
What exactly did you ask them? To air additional episodes? To broadcast new episodes- it’s likely an MJ thing…. we need to find out from his production company if he is done. That will tell you what needs to happen…. if he’s done? Chances are the show is done as well
I asked if they could pick up Girl Meets World altogether. The man told me if enough people followed, they could fight for it. It's been done before. And even if the shows done for, why not at least try? To quote Sabrina "can't blame a [person] for trying"
This is Disney Channel’s biggest mistake yet. That company is so unbelievably scared of showing this generation the TRUTH about the world that they are willing to give up one of their most successful programs of all time. Girl Meets World taught REAL lessons. Taught lessons about divorce and loss of a parent. Taught lessons about mental disorders. Taught lessons about violence, about war, about discrimination, about feminism, equality, it taught lessons that all of these other bullshit shows NEVER touch on. It’s unbelievably frustrating. This generation deserves the love that Girl Meets World has to give and I am so heartbroken to hear that it is over.
I am glad that Sabrina and Rowan along with the rest of the cast can move on to bigger opportunities and I know they will all do beautiful things, I just wish this could have lasted.

Free-form didn't listen
An hour or so ago, I called Netflix through their customer service line, and talked to a man about having Netflix renew Girl Meets World. The idea was *Not* shut down. He told me that support was key. In the whole time I’ve been in this Fandom, we’ve never been more together, and because of this, I believe, we have a chance. Call Netflix. Word spreads easiest this way. But I understand if you can’t. If you can’t, email. Sign a petition. But don’t let this go.
{ 1 (866) 579-7172 is their number }
{ @greg-serrano has Multiple petitions }
And in a moment a whole Fandom came together. Not just to say our feelings over a show we all loved, but even though we were told it’s done we are still going to try. I love you all so much, and I’m so proud to be part of it all. If netflix doesn’t work, and this is the end I will always be grateful for the time I spent here. It has changed me for the better.
Everyone regardless of ship in the gmw fandom. Please take a moment to breathe. We all love this show, and deep down we love each other.
Now that we’re calm, I would like to make a collective request to everyone. I have reblogged several posts that will help you, but I ask all of you to remember to be calm, respectful, and very polite to Netflix’s representatives when talking to them.
On that note, please call Netflix to ask them about potentially picking up a Girl Meets World Season 4. Calling is the best way to get through to them, and on top of that they told a user, @joshs-hart that support was needed, and did not shut the idea down.
Do not bother with freeform, please take the time to call Netflix, speak to them very respectfully and politely, and also go and request it on the title request here.
I know I’ve already posted this, I know I’ve commented it on almost all of the posts on my feed right now, I think Girl Meets World is worth it. Please contact Netflix. I found it easiest to call, because word spreads Easier by ear, but please contact them in general. I was told by the man I talked to, that support was key. All we need now is support. Call, email, sign a petition. Don’t let Girl Meets World die.

User Joshs-hart emailed Netflix about picking up gmw and a representative responded saying if we get more support they will consider it !!!
I’m ofc always wary about these things, but contacting them (politely) and/or signing a petition (i think someone already started one… @greg-serrano maybe?) can’t hurt
Hello! I contacted them through their customer service and said that if they were busy I would definitely hang up because I didn't want to disrespectful in the slightest the man I talked to told me that if I got support the Netflix review team would definitely look at it and he also told me he tried to push it for me he talk to whoever he could but it was not up to him it was up to if I got support or not!
