Grimmway Farms Salmonella Lawyer Update: Carrot Products Recalled Due to Salmonella Contamination
The company Grimmway Farms has issued a recall on multiple carrot products believed to be contaminated with Salmonella bacterium on July 22, 2021. The potential contamination was discovered by the company during a routine company test of the carrot products.
The recall involved carrot products with the brand names of Bunny Luv, Cal-Organic, Grimmway Farms, and 0 Organics. According to the Food and Drug Administration, in addition to the retail–packed carrot products the company recalled certain shredded carrots and chopped carrots that were sold to food manufacturers and foodservice distributors.
People who have consumed the potentially contaminated products should stay vigilant for symptoms of salmonella such as fever, diarrhea which may be bloody, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
