Hot take: i dont think byler will become canon

NOT BECAUSE I DONT LIKE BYLER, i actually ship it. But because the show cant even use the word lesbian, let alone gay. And i know its the 80s people were homophobic bla bla bla, but still. I just dont think the duffer brothers are would actually go through with a byler plot.

Also, your ship doesnt have to become canon for you to ship it. Get crazy with, i saw a dustin and eleven ship, i love it, no even remotely close to canon, who the fuck cares.

Another theory time

SO, even tho i dont think byler will become canon, i think we will have like a bait and switch.

Basically we have a scene with will after a crazy vecna stuff (idk bare with me) the scene goes like normal, then mike and will are talking, similar to the scene we got in vol 1. But this time is talking kinda different, like it could be interpreted in a romantic way. Will is confused, mike gets close and they kiss like a peck or something. Will gets away because wtf was that, mike then says something along the lines of why are you getting away, i thought this is what you wanted. Will knows sonething is wrong, he turns around, the room is moving, mike starts talking with the vecna voice, oh no, its still a vision.

Idk if these would make sense in the storyline, but i think it would be funny if the duffers did something like this.
