1. I can somewhat predict the weather. It's nothing like the weather forecasters on TV, I just make educated guesses on the weather in the next few hours based on my own observations on cloud cover, wind intensity, local humidity, and even the behaviour of local wildlife. I spent a full month taking notes on the weather once in February 2012, and the experience kinda stuck with me. So far, my accuracy for this is around 70%.

2. My favourite colour is an incredibly specific shade of purple. The approximate hex code for it is #b01fff, but even that doesn't seem like the right one.

3. I just got a frappuccino from Starbucks. It's one of the cream ones, I don't drink coffee at all.

fdklvndf this is why I don’t work too hard for too long because I was so worried I won’t make the deadline I worked on VBE continuously for a week and stressed myself out so much I fell sick for the past two or three days

(or maybe it’s the haze. I’m ridiculously sensitive to air quality)

either way I’m taking like a few days off which might mean VBE will be coming a little later than expected, sorry ;u;

Now that I have your attention, I would like to announce that VBE has passed the 80% mark in development, since the most complex event engines for it (really just one very specific puzzle tbh) are mostly complete qwq Tasteful screenshot time

My new year’s resolution this year is to get VBE out by March 16th 2021, so I’ve allocated myself a nice schedule to slowly work towards finishing this cuckoo clock of a project

May I ask how you fixed that ice-glide? I’ve been trying to figure out the easiest way to fix that. Do you just put a parallel process and “move forward(s)” movement connected to Region ID and Conditional branch, or…?

It’s actually a script. Using region tags and tileset notes, Yanfly’s Slippery Tile script makes tiles slippery for you! I was doing it with Autorun events before, until I found this script. 70+ events, ugh. Never doing that again.

“Things future devs should have in their games”. That’s... a very broad category. There’s a thousand and one things I could suggest ;u;

I personally want to see more rare characters, cool game mechanics, a good story with a reasonable cast, the usual.

Hi! Since you're an hetagamer could you jelp me? I'm doing a Spanish project for my school and I tought about doing a game 1 minute long with vx ace, but then I realized I'll have to play it in my school's computer. The question is, does vx ace have the rtp already included or do I have to download it on the computer? Sorry my bad English, ugh

Hmm.

That depends on whether your game comes with the RTP itself. When you compress your game data, this shows up:

See that “Include RTP Data” checkbox there? If you check that, your game will come with the RTP so you don’t have to install it on the computer you’re playing it on. The downside is that it makes the resulting game file a lot bigger. On the other hand, you can leave the RTP out, but that means your school computer will need to have the RTP installed beforehand. So no, you don’t have to download RTP on the computer, but that’s only if your game already has the RTP included.
