grief.

digital drawing/collage. 2024.

i lost one of my best friends to suicide last year, around this time. now my great-grandmoher is sick, currently in the hospital. a photo of her was sent to the family group chat. when i saw it, i burst out crying. "she's gonna die." i said to myself.

i already lost a loved one, and i will lose again, i know that. i just cannot bare the thought of losing all the people i love. i don't know how i'm going to carry all that grief, and i'm scared.

but grief is the proof. grief is the aftermath. grief is the final stage.

of love, of love, of love.
