Design Integration

Above is work that I did for this class. Some of the peer reviews in this class was particularly helpful in providing me with different aspects of Kyoto to research for the logo ideation phase. I was getting stumped on thinking about Kyoto in terms outside of just land geography. A classmate suggested diving into the Japanese, specifically Kyoto, family crests. Much of my later logo ideation was focused around that.

It was through another peer review that I was told that my new logo ideas were cool but they depicted Japan as a whole and not specifically Kyoto. He recommended a few logos to work off of and I ended up with a new idea as seen above.

So far this course has been very productive in drafting the next few months of my design work. The feedback received from my peers and professory has been very helpful throughout my exploration. I plan on redeveloping the logo designs for Kyoto. My plan is to incorporate watercolors into the design process, and in doing so start creating a niche design skill to market.

This is the final iteration of my motion graphic. Again, which was all self-taught.

Organizational Structures

This course was shameful. It was terribly laid out, poorly planned, lacked any education whatsoever and provided no insight. My experience was horrible. I plan to reevaluate how to tackle a Full Sail education after this experience. That is my plan for where to go from here.

This is my final website design for the Indigo Farms charity sea turtle concert.

These are the wireframes I developed to outline my website. They evolved quite a bit as the process went on.

I painted a sea turtle in watercolor to serve as my backdrop in the mood board and on my website. I taught myself how to make a seamless pattern by scanning it into Illustrator.

I landed on the “Turtle Grooves” but turned it into Indigo Farms. The top mood board was my second iteration of the vibe and the one below is my final mood board.

These were the initial three mood boards I created to determine which type of music and vibe I would proceed with for the sea turtle charity concert event.
