The Winsbury Manor, Historical Residence in Ravenwood (NO CC)
Winsbury Manor is a grand Tudor-style estate built in 1490, nestled in the heart of Whispering Glen, Ravenwood. Steeped in history, this manor boasts intricate architectural details, lush landscaped gardens, and an aura of timeless elegance. With its meticulously preserved features and rich legacy, Winsbury Manor offers a rare glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of a bygone era, blending heritage with enduring charm.
Winsbury Manor stands as a testament to centuries of power and conflict. Established on land claimed by the Kingdom of Henford after their decisive victory in the Battle of Whispering Glen in 1485, the manor was completed in 1490 under the command of Lord Governor Winsbury I.
Serving as Henford's seat of authority over the Kingdom of Ravenwood, it remained a symbol of dominance until the tragic Siege of Winsbury in 1532, where Dutchess Annelise Winsbury, the last resident, perished at a young age of 17, marking the fall of Henford's control.
Left abandoned for decades, the estate was revived in 1609 by the Ravensworth family, who meticulously restored and modernized it through the centuries. In 2020, the Lesmana Enterprise acquired the manor, ushering in a new chapter for this storied estate, blending historical preservation with modern innovation.
Your Very own Retreat

single separated pillows // 3 versions, 156 swatches (across 4 package files), deco, work with omsp shelf
DISCLAIMER // because of the sheer amount of swatches for each object i opted to separate them into 4 options; basics, patterned, abstract and cringe (just silly swatches for fun). please keep that in mind if you decide to download them all
Another Wall Mounted Landline Telephone (+ Fire Sprinkler box)
Okay, in all seriousness; the “Fire Prevention System Utility Panel” / the sprinkler box is a real eyesore. Because EA didn't consider the fact that people have aesthetic standards and due to how revolting the fire box looks; people go out of their way to HIDE it in their builds!
That’s why I made this item which looks more like a telephone and is inspired by The earlier Sims’ games’ burglar alarms and real life security systems.
I also made a second decorative version that functions as a very dim light source. You can have both files in-game at the same time
————
This download has 2 files:
📞 File number 1:
Utility System/Fire Sprinkler box
Functions as an alternative to the in-game fire sprinkler box. This is not a default replacement.
Picture provided at the end of the post for size comparison as well. The new alarm is a bit smaller and less of an eyesore. 😅
📞 File number 2:
Wall-Lamp
This is only decorative. Produces a dim light.
You CAN have both files-in game at the same time.
Both come with Custom Catalog Thumbnails for further clarity
7 swatches (all swatches are different variations of black, white and gray)
Both files are Compatible with each other (meaning: you can have both files in game at the same time)
Both files are base game compatible
Comes with 3 slots to place small items on top of the telephone

Background/Personal Notes:
What inspired this object is The Sims 2 in general with its security system against burglars and its old-school telephones (Gotta appreciate the nostalgia!) BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY: the main reason i created this telephone as an alternative is THE GOD AWFUL FIRE SPRINKILER BOX! IT’S SO HIDEOUS! So I started off making this purely as a second option for the Sprinkelr box but soon decided to also make a lamp. LIKE, I TOOK PERSONAL OFFENSE TO HOW UGLY THE SPRIMKLER IS. Also, i currently can't spell the word sprinklier because I’m pissed off and NO i won't fix my spelling because i’m javing a moment. 😅
I wanted to create something nostalgic that ties into the cozy vibes of the holiday season, so here's Ur 1st PC — a vintage-style computer inspired by the early 2000s. 🎄💾

Here are the details:
• 5 swatches
• §850
• Base game compatible
• Easily searchable in the Buy catalog by typing “SimMattically”
I hope this throwback piece brings a little extra charm to your Sims’ homes this season! 🎄✨
Today is the big day ! The REVEAAAAL of my secret project. Because yes I've been working days on this 15 objects kit !
A little lore about the Desk Mess CC Kit : Maybe you know it, maybe you don't I AM FRENCH. And I play The Sims since... I am 11 or 12 yo. When I discovered the great world of custom contents, I was awestruck. So, I started downloading a loooooot of them. Never thinking one day I would make my own. Then in Covid 2020 I tried Blender. And a new world opened to me. It was hard. But I am very stubborn. I failed a lot. But I kept trying. So the first time I successfully added MY OWN CC into MY GAME and it worked I thought, OK THIS IS IT. I WANT TO LEARN MORE. You are going to ask yourself, why is she telling this. Why being French has something to do with this CC Kit, and I'll tell you why. As a Sims 4 addict, I watch a lot of content about Sims 4. And I have a favorite French Youtuber I follow since 2019 @kapands ! I loved her content so much, I followed her on Twitch. And I loved even more the community there. I was so happy to add my contribution to the 2024 secret Advent Calendar the community is gifting her. Following her all these years, I knew custom content was taking a great place in her way of playing The Sims 4. So I challenged myself (really afraid to fail) to create a CC Kit centred around one of her character : Bella. (2nd gen of the Into The Forest Challenge).
🔗Kapands Into The Forest Legacy Challenge 1st Episode
I wanted to thank Kapands, because she has created this awesome community I am proud to be a part of. Because she is kind and real. Because she adresses important subjects of life into her game. And also because she works so freaking much !!!!
This is a small little thingy I made, hoping to release it as a Christmas gift to you all! Better late than never, I suppose!🎅🎁
I didn't want only the decoration box that came with Seasons, so I wanted to make a basic one resembling moving boxes, that fits in any basement or attic you might want to build. Of course, it's functional too, opening and closing as your sim uses it, but it REQUIRES SEASONS to work. I'm unsure whether it will even show up as a decoration without the pack... Let me know!
Another fun thing is I figured out how to make edge highlights using Blender, so they will bump up the visual quality of my objects quite a bit! The sad part is I already finished all the swatches for my upcoming Outhouse Stories set, so now that will have to take a little longer.
Hi guys, today I bring you this cozy bedroom set! As always, I was inspired by some retro items I totally think should make a comeback. You'll be getting a variety of stuff, from comfort items to some electronic entertainment to a functional vintage camera for your simmies to capture immaculate vibes with. Enjoy! ♥

Armoire Of Florals (functional dresser, 10 swatches, all lods, 1,388 polys)
Leisurely Sheets (double bed, 10 swatches, all lods, 10,302 polys)

I figured, since everyone uses a UI mod or two, it'd be nice to do a compilation of their respective glitches (if or when they happen) and hopefully makes it easier for you to identify which mods need updating :9 but before that, some context about them! (disclaimer: all info based on my own experience w/ making UI recolors.)
// about UI mods
They usually edit one of these two UI files, or both:
GFX files: often edited to add/modify the functionality of a UI.
Examples: More Traits in CAS, Searchable menus/UIs, UI Cheats Extension, TOOL, etc.
Texture (DDS) files: often edited to change the texture of a UI.
Examples: CC wrench icons, main menu/loading screen override, and world map replacements.
Both: UI recolors often edit both files above as text colors are handled by GFX files and the textures are edited separately. Some main menu and loading screen overrides also edit both if there's a new functionality added to them.
// GFX and texture file(s) comes as a set for the UIs they're made for
For example, the main Calendar UI comes with one GFX file (calendar.gfx) and one Texture file (instance # 999522802c8b1c5c). Meanwhile, the Edit Holiday & Plan Event UIs have their own set of GFX & Texture files. This can be further confirmed by checking the GFX file and see which external image it's referencing to in the file.
because of this, it makes it easy to pinpoint which UI mod is causing a glitch, hence the creation of this guide :p
// cause of a UI glitch
Whenever there's a new game update, the GFX and texture set are updated together if a new functionality is added to a UI. With that in mind, when you have a UI mod from the previous patch laying around, you now have one half outdated/modded UI file (i.e. GFX) and one half up-to-date/unmodded UI file (i.e. UI texture) loaded up by the game (or vice versa), and that discrepancy in version is how you get the UI visual glitch!
Here's an example of a UI known to break (guicomponentlibrary.gfx):
There are instances where only the GFX file gets updated and not the textures, causing little to no visual bugs, or in another case, having 2 outdated UI mods from the same set (i.e. custom wrench icon & more traits in cas mod).
So even if there seems to be no visual bugs, some UIs may still not function as it's supposed to (mainly after big game updates). Always a good idea to check all of your UI mods.
// list of UI mods and their associated glitches
what you're here for :-) // ⚠️ important note: I'm reproducing these examples using old UI files I exported & edited myself and doesn't reflect the current state of the mods included below. UI mods that haven't been broken since Dec '24 aren't included. Use this only as a frame of reference!
