Reblog if Black Lives Matter to you
Where are those woke white people at!?
The amount of notes this doesn’t have bothers me…
Tumblr has 30-50 million active users. Why does this not even have 1 million notes?
I have over three thousand followers and so far only two reblogged this I’m disappointed
Plans underway...the big unraveling
Well, I have read that along with repealing Obamacare, plans are to reduce Medicare benefits, raise eligibility age, and transition to a voucher system.
Oh, but they have more plans. Privatizing social security, gutting the clean air act, rolling back net neutrality, overturning civil protections for the LGBT community, and cancelling the dream act protections! I guess after that….voila, America will be great again!
People at the fringes of right wing orthodoxy are being tapped to carry all this out.
The only thing sold as advertised to his flock was Obamacare repeal. Wait till he snatches Medicare and social security from them while passing those big tax cuts for business and the wealthy!
Somehow I think the legions of Trump voters weren’t voting for Paul Ryan’s dream of a brave New Ayn Rand World. At least they got great hats, and permission to shout slurs at the other half of the country.
I’m predicting lots of protesting. We need lots of help to stop all this!
I am not sure I will awaken again without a pit in my stomach every morning. I see a dermatologist once every year……so I figured it’s easier to say just 4 more Doctor Appointments before we can kick him out.
I wish I could awaken with a pit in my stomach....I can’t even sleep more than an hour or two I am so concerned about what is going to happen. I’m an old white woman so can’t even imagine what those that are going to be slammed by his big plans are feeling right now. The whole thing is one big nightmare.
I'm scared
We are too. It’s a dark day for our country. But we’re in this together, we’re with you and not going anywhere. We will stand together. We will report. We will mobilize. We will dedicate every minute of every day to fight and ensure our voices are actually heard.
We will build this movement from the ground up, with the best ideas from everyone. We want to hear you. We want your feedback. We’re ready to build this together.
You should be hammering coverage of the voter suppression & corruption that helped this man technically win the Presidency
Along with the FBI......thanks James Comey
We still don’t know who will win the electoral college, although as I write this it looks — incredibly, horribly — as if the odds now favor Donald J. Trump. What we do know is that people like me, and probably like most readers of The New York Times, truly didn’t understand the country we live in. We thought that our fellow citizens would not, in the end, vote for a candidate so manifestly unqualified for high office, so temperamentally unsound, so scary yet ludicrous. We thought that the nation, while far from having transcended racial prejudice and misogyny, had become vastly more open and tolerant over time. We thought that the great majority of Americans valued democratic norms and the rule of law. It turns out that we were wrong. There turn out to be a huge number of people — white people, living mainly in rural areas — who don’t share at all our idea of what America is about. For them, it is about blood and soil, about traditional patriarchy and racial hierarchy. And there were many other people who might not share those anti-democratic values, but who nonetheless were willing to vote for anyone bearing the Republican label. I don’t know how we go forward from here. Is America a failed state and society? It looks truly possible. I guess we have to pick ourselves up and try to find a way forward, but this has been a night of terrible revelations, and I don’t think it’s self-indulgent to feel quite a lot of despair.

I’m sitting on the top stair of my home, listening to my boys sleep and waiting for my husband’s alarm to sound. I’m about to be the bearer of very bad news to the 3 people I love the most in this world.
One down…💔…two to go 💔💔
So now I sit here again, listening to my youngest cry. What a shitty day.
I’m with you.
Devastated, depressed and really scared for the future of our Country.
