- The Man by Aloe Blacc: This song always motivates me to be the best. When I’m on top listening to this song, I really feel like “The Man”.😏
- I Need A Dollar by Aloe Dollar: Whenever I open my wallet and see a tumbleweed fall out, this song pops in my head.😭💸
- Man In The Mirror by Michael Jackson: Every time I take a glance in the mirror I look back and see all the good things I’ve done in my life and the better things that I will do in the future.👔
- One Man Can Change The World by Big Sean ft. Kanye West and John Legend: This song makes me want to go out and make a difference. This song gives the positive difference that anyone can make a difference.👤👣🌎🌐
- Only One by Kanye West ft. Paul McCartney: This song will always be there to let me know that my loved ones who have passed will always be looking down on me from Heaven.👼🏾🙏🏾
- Basketball by Kurtis Blow: Do I even have to tell you why I chose this song. The title is pretty self-explanatory. “Basketball is my favorite sport”(the first lines of the song aside from the chorus). I breathe the game. Basketball’s in my blood and I love everything about it. It is like my own personal playground when I’m playing. It’s my sanctuary.🏀
- IDFWU by Big Sean ft. E-40: If you know the acronym then you already know what it’s about. Whenever I think about the ones I hate I just sit back and throw this on. It’s kinda like a message that says forget you, I’m not dealing with your bullshit anymore because at the end of the day, you f***ed me over and now I’m doing better than you are and you want me back in your life??? Like IDFWU💯
- Power Trip by J. Cole: Going through girl troubles, this one girl had me up all night contemplating and stressing over the bullshit she pulls. I still found myself attracted to her knowing she was tearing me apart mentally. Eventually, I got over her and moved on. Her loss😂
- Wet Dreamz by J. Cole: This song brings me back to when I was in the 10th grade when my crush was in my math class. The beginning of this song pretty much described my entire situation with the good. too bad it didn’t end the way it did for Jermaine Cole😍😔
- The Hills by The Weeknd: With all the stuff this guy Abel talks about, I only relate myself with 9 words in this song(I only call you when it’s half past Five). It just makes me realize that I only text my friends back home after 530 because thats when my final class ends everyday.📱🕠
