I hate san jose so much. I don’t have many friends here but that wouldn’t be so terrible if there were things to do that I could take myself to, like live music shows or community events or any cool shit but there’s nothing but the monthly drag-burlesque show. like I don’t mind taking myself out alone if there’s something to do/see/experience and not just drinking at a random bar.

I mean it sucks to not have friends too. it’s largely my fault — I spent my first six months here in a long distance relationship and then the next few months after that absolutely destroyed by our break up. my roommate is my only friend but like I don’t want to smother her

all my other “friends” are guys that actually probably just want to fuck me. i’ve met ppl at the gym and when I’m out but it’s rare that any of us follow through on hanging out.

this is so negative but like I can’t escape it. I want to get out of here so bad but I’m not committed enough to my career to make it happen. i’m so tired
