Here are some of my rough boards for the new Mickey Shorts! I’ve always admired these cartoons and all of the artists that make them, so I was honored and intimidated to join the crew as a director! Was lucky enough to be board partners with the amazing Tara Billinger this season. Thanks to Paul, Darrick, Leanna, Tara, Eddie, Justin, and to the amazing layout, bg paint, design, editorial, color styling, and production teams for the daily laughs and constant inspiration! This show wouldn’t be the same without these talented folks- and having Mercury Filmworks doing the heavy lifting with the animation, and Chris Willis and Elyse with their incredible score and vocals. I’m proud to be a part of this season, and happy to call all of you friends! Check out the first two cartoons on Disney plus!

Here’s a weird stream of conscious short I animated to pass the time during quarantine. This is the first time I tried to make my own music for something and I kind of got frustrated and gave up. Hopefully I’ll get better with practice. Enjoy!

I tried to animate in Procreate on the iPad for the first time. This very funky but maybe someone will enjoy it.
