I think unhappiness often stems from one of two core instincts. The desire to possess, and the desire to be right.

Both instincts are essentially self-centered. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.

I’ve learned that real happiness springs from the act of giving, like this daily dose of perspective that I’m offering to Tumblr nation.

I would expand further, but I need to get back to work. I’m certain if I work hard enough I will produce results that will justify compensating me immensely and prove to everyone that my ideas were best all along.
