[After finishing a book] *cries* *pterodactyl screeches* *silence* *contemplates life* *more crying* … “Hey friend read this book”

Racing to Read Tag
Thank you to @booksandrandomfandoms for tagging me - I know you tagged me on my main blog, but I’m answering from my book blog instead since it’s relevant to my other blog content here : )
1. Warm Up - book that stretches your mind? Any of Adam Silvera’s books - his books are mind-blowing.
2. Start Line - what is a book you started but never finished? I rarely rarely stop reading a book without finishing it, but I started If On a Winter’s Night a Traveler by Italo Calvino for my book club a couple years ago and I just could not stand it.
3. Sprint - a book you read really quickly? I’ll Be the One by Lyla Lee!! I read it in, like, a day.
4. Marathon - what’s your favorite long book? Anything longer than like 350 pages is long for me lol but definitely A Conjuring of Light by V. E. Schwab!! It’s such a beautifully exciting and thrilling series conclusion and I loved every word on those 600+ pages.
5. Hurdles - what’s a book that had ups and downs? Oh, gosh, there are many. I’ll go with Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender because I wasn’t sure how I felt about it for a while but then the ending happened and I could not stop smiling : )
6. Finish Line - a book you were proud to finish? The Dark Vault by Victoria Schwab - it’s two books in one, so it’s VERY long.
7. Gold Medal - best book you’ve read during a readathon? I’ve never participated in one, but I definitely should!
8. Participation Ribbon - an underrated book you wish got more attention? Magyk by Angie Sage and the entire Septimus Heap series!! It is absolutely the superior seven-book British wizard series, and it has barely any romance in it at all, so it just focuses on the magic and the characters and the adventures and I absolutely loved it when I was younger and I still love it now. I really should reread it sometime : )
I tag @thebibliolife, @paper-gir1, and @hayleysbookshelf!!
I love a good riverwalk, especially when it’s adorned with autumn leaves…
It’s all rainbows <3
Maybe people who don’t have children actually do have an idea of how hard it is to raise children, and that’s why they don’t have children.
