anyone else confused that riptide 123 and 124 were not uploaded publicly back to back even tho they said they would do that in the ONE BILLION update post? or was it just a patreon thing (so stating the obvious)? idk man i thought their wording was misleading at best. anyone else?

really frustrated by the latest riptide eps ignoring jay. even when she Should be important it feels like they completely gloss over her

like so much of jays arc has already been given/seen through other characters eyes, at least when it comes to the fandom. we talk about 53 in the context of gillions line. 117 is viewed just as shipping content for her and lizzie. 118 was boiled down to "butch faye ferin"

and now with her leg!! its been ignored basically since it happened! and youd think the fans would care but so many of them are just blatantly ignoring her :/

can i be honest i actually think the jrwi haters are a bigger problem than “proshippers” or whatever. cause like. at least proshippers CLEARLY tag their posts so people who dont wanna see it don’t have to see it. meanwhile i think ive seen jrwi hate be tagged like once. theres. you see the Thing here right.

also just bc u enjoy proshipping stuff doesnt mean u endorse it irl. thats like saying someone who likes, idk, the saw movies thinks people should irl be put in saw traps. yk. and also ive found usually the people making fucked up n twisted content that is Not Real are actually perfectly normal and kind people irl. kink is a coping mechanism too and sometimes that kink involves something proship-esque. you dont know whats happened to the person making it. maybe they went through the same things theyre writing these characters going through. etc etc

i personally am not a fan of proshipping and steer as clear from it as i can but that doesnt mean im gonna give people shit over proshipping unless there is real, concrete evidence besides just “theyre a proshipper” that that person is terrible!

i have no malice towards the people but alot of the recent rueben price content has been genuinely annoying me, it feels like theyre turning him into a babygirl who did no wrong? also shipping him wirh characters like edyn does not make any sense to me, and horribly mischaracterizes both parties involved (not even MENTIONING the off handed ideas of him and jay or lizzie, or the him and chip comtent where theyre happy and cuddly??) and its. idk puts a bad taste in my mouth. i get people can do things differently but at this point make an oc, because that is not the same guy . it doesnt feel like we watched the same riptide i guess

i physically cannot watch ANY of the long campaigns. theyre not bad or anything i just dont have the attention span, especially as a viewer who joined when they were already like 70 episodes into riptide. this is very much a me and my attention span problem but i just cant. the longest i managed to watch was apotheosis (which is my favorite). i also didnt finish the suckening because i didnt like it

I don’t know how much of a hot take this is and I’m gonna say it as nicely as I can, but I like the content without Grizzly way more than the stuff with him in it. I’ve always struggled with Riptide because the dming and world building feels very uninspired and when Grizz is a player, he’s consistently the weakest link.

I think a lot of PD’s fanbase have realllyyyyy boring predictions for Cantrip in s3 :,,) maybe it’s just because I find the typical revenge plot lines not very interesting but id be way more into the plotline if it focused less on “Cantrip is going to fucking KILL William” and more on Cantrip herself, her family, what she meant to Alan and X and only THEN William. And I’d also like it more if it wasn’t her beating him up with hammers and more that . She’s a twin sister . She KNOWS how important a sibling can be and how much you can’t run away from family legacy (her parents being heroes) even if you try. The last things she heard from William before she died were repeated “I’m sorry”’s.

I’m honestly a little pissed off that the last three riptide episodes were all released late. 2 of those times without any communication beforehand

I pay you 50€ a year and you can’t figure out how to schedule videos. Are you serious.

Sorry if this was a one-off thing i wouldn’t care that much but three times in a row is a concerning trend..

(Hope this isn’t too negative. I genuinely love everything else about jrwi but i need to complain about this somewhere)

I’ve tried like 3 times to get through 119, and I just can’t. Aurora feels off. It’s like I started reading a Chip/Reader fanfic by accident. It feels like she doesn’t belong shoehorned into the middle of this story, and her teleporting them out of there felt very deus ex machina

ueghh, i dont wanna complain too much about riptide 116's whole presentation Deal bc a lot of people have talked about it already and i generally dislike just adding more negativity -

But. did anyone else notice the intro also seemed really off? mainly with how chip and gill were drawn i think. i just kinda get the feeling that the animator[s?] didnt really care about the characters

Absolutely nothing complaint but I feel weird about Milo becoming a permanent cast member specifically because my name is Milo and I'm transmasc and hearing a Milo referred to as she/her gives me unbelievable dysphoria. This is 100% a me issue that I need to deal with but I gotta put it out in the world man

i love you milo mumbles i loooooove you but im like . i kinda am unsure on milo joining riptide its the one campaign that feels strange for it if that makes sense. its the longest running one from what i can tell so adding in someone who may become as close to the group as they are its like . i dunno id love milo as a guest star for npcs maybe but otherwise im like . eugh <- not noise of disgust

It’s a pet peeve of mine but I actually hate the ship name for Peter and Rumi, cause they both only relate to Peter!!! If anything, it would mean exandroth and Peter!

I have no clue where the idea that Deadwood is on a different planet comes from.

Three teenagers were able to drive there in a Winnebago.

I think prof. Cross would have said something if the tracker Will put on the Trickster wound up on MARS. That is a critical piece of information that not even chronic under-explainer Zac BizlyChannel would forget to sprinkle in.

If I were to guess, the misconception might trace back to a rolled, where Bizly said that William had family from mars. This could mean a whole lot of things. And in classic bebo fashion, he does not elaborate. But one thing it does not imply is that space travel is widely available to the public, enough that a trio of unemployed, homeless drop-outs can afford to do it.

As a Call of Cthulu enjoyer, I'm really liking how the unwitness protection program campaign is going. However. 2/2 of the jrwi call of cthulu (coc) campaigns are about bugs, and theres so much more to coc than bug and body horror. wheres my evil houses and crazy playrights at?????

havent been in this fandom for a while but the elementals just popped into my head recently and it reminded me that i wish there was more fan content solely focused on them. especially if it included magma, seismic, and whirlwind cs i feel like theyre pretty underexplored
