woke up to find that someone made a walmart account using my email address and i now have half a dozen emails from them making orders of the same item over and over, with different (prob stolen) cards (none were mine thankfully) to be delivered to some address halfway across the country

i can't get into the account bc they set up text/phone verification with their number

walmart doesn't let you use their online help chat unless you have an account

their customer service number is all automated

so i'm fucked i guess?

talked to someone earlier about my old days of loving outlast and how i used to rp an outlast au for a couple muses i had back then. went ahead and revisited one of those au blogs (izaya from drrr) and i'm casually just crying actual tears i guess bc 1. my writing was so good 2. i wrote this asshole dying multiple times? wrote him getting his tongue cut out? contemplating ending his life? killing people? so hungry he tried to take a raw bite out of somebody? dragging someone across the floor by their hair before stabbing a knife into their eye? HELLO????

all i wanna do is write **** painfully getting glass pulled out of his eyeball with no anesthetic but no!! i can't focus!!

my mom and brother both found weird black marks on their hands after being in the kitchen earlier today, then a few hours ago i also randomly found black marks on my fingers after putting away dishes, so i thought there was something coming off one of the pots or pans (i'd found a similar mark on a pan before washing it), but couldn't find anything

little while ago i happened to lift my arm and saw a huge black smudge on the underside of my upper arm? ran to check the shirt i wore earlier and there was giant black marks all over the left sleeve and left side. same side as what's on my arm

i took recyclables out earlier, and had put a folded up box under that arm when carrying them out. it must've been... from that?? but then how did it get on the pan? why was it getting on my finger putting away dishes?

anyway spent 20min trying to scrub whatever the fuck out of my shirt, i think i got most of it but there's still some left. hung it up to dry and i'll check it again later once it's dry and i can see what's left easier

but i still don't know what tf it is

In case anyone hasn't heard, the cyclospora outbreak affecting tons of people in the US right now is coming from Taylor Farms produce. Best to stay away from bagged lettuce and prepared salads completely right now, but especially the ones mentioned in the screenshot:

Taylor Farms Earthbound Farms Little Salad Bar (Aldi) Marketside (Walmart) Kroger House Brand Target private label greens Costco salads and greens etc Trader Joe's chopped salad kits and fresh produce Fast food: McDonalds, Taco Bell, (Yum! Brands), Chipotle, Subway, Pizza Hut, KFC, Olive Garden, Top Golf, Red Lobster, Burger King, etc.

This is not the first time I've heard about a Taylor Farms foodborne illness outbreak. I stopped eating their salads after reading a description of the conditions in their facilities. Doesn't sound like they've improved anything.

We need a fully funded and staffed FDA, and regulations with teeth - and that's exactly what we don't have under Trump. To make things worse, the CDC is no longer tracking these outbreaks. We're on our own.
