What is Open?
In this first week of Why Open?, we are working on the question of what 'open' means.
'Openness' to me is encapsulated in this para from the Open Handbook:
"Being open is essentially about letting go. You open up to what is outside your control. Openness isn’t just about sharing or crowdsourcing. It’s an approach that can be adopted almost anywhere, and can play a big role in making things happen. This might be opening up information to others, opening up a process to a range of possible eventualities, or perhaps creating a space to collaboratively achieve your goals."
