Justin: So, tell me more about you?

Seb: What do you want to know?

Justin: You'd love the skies in Canada, then. Not always the city areas but it's always really easy to get out and find rural areas. They're amazing. When I visit my parents in the summer, between semesters, I like to take Avalon out at night where the stars are just so bright and easy to see. It's too cold to do that with her in the winter, though.

Seb: She's so lucky to have a daddy like you

Justin: Mmm, yeah Chicago doesn't exactly have the clearest and prettiest skies. It's one of the things I miss about Kapuskasing.

Seb: That sounds super fun to say - And I was raised in the city, so I'm kind of obsessed with clear skies -

Seb: And never in Chicago

Seb: A couple big, fluffy clouds during a sunset

Justin: So, I'm still getting to learn about you. Tell me some things I definitely need to know now that we've been friends for a bit. I don't believe I know your favorite color, and it is a sin to not have discussed that already this far into a friendship. ;)

Seb: Baby blue. What's yours?

Justin: Mhm, very. I know you said your mom is taking you out to dinner, are you close with your own parents?

Seb: I try, because they try - I mean, they've always been happy for me -

Justin: Ahhh... Yeah, now I see. Still, some people just wouldn't know fun if it danced a polka on their nose. That's what my own mom always says.

Seb: What's she like?

Text@Sebastian

Justin: I'm sure his side enjoyed themselves too. I mean, we're all human.

Seb: His mother is currently married to a Baptist minister

Justin: That sounds kind of perfect though. Really fun and just... Representative of the two sides of your lives. I'm sure it was a great wedding. :)

Justin: That's so sweet. You still close with any of them?

Seb: Three of them are my closest friends - But I always thought it was funny - There's Steve's friends and family all dignified and suited up and fawning and then my friends and their dates shotgunning beer they snuck into the reception hall -

Justin: Awwww :) What was your wedding like?

Seb: Funny, looking back on it -- I was friends with most of a sorority

Justin: Very. I love my life with Av. Things are stable now, they're good.

Seb: I get what you said earlier though, with being young and everything -- I mean, I was nineteen when I married Steve

Justin: Just about. She tried, but she didn't want to be around Avalon at all, or me, was never really home and when she was it was obvious she didn't want to be there. I think she only stayed that long cause she was able to avoid us, and in turn the problem, for so long. Avalon was getting older though, she was gonna start to be able to understand what was going on soon, so when Serena said she wished she hadn't had Avalon... It was pretty obvious Serena couldn't keep being around her. It would've hurt Avalon.

Seb: But you're happy? Generally?

Justin: No. I mean, I loved her. I asked her to marry me, months before she even got pregnant. But... The way things were after Avalon was born... It was a year and a half before she finally left. It was pretty loveless by then, I was in it only for Avalon at that point. I care about her, I'll always love her in some way, but I don't think it'd be possible to love her romantically again. I think maybe we'd rushed into things anyway, cause we thought it was just the next step we should be taking.

Seb: She was there for a year and a half?
