Believe in what you do... If you can believe in your own abilities don't expect anyone else to. In believing in your ability reminder not to get lost in the "YOU" factor because ultimately every action you make still has to be decided by someone higher.

Understand discipline! punishment & discipline cross paths but they are not one of the same... Self discipline is key to remaining sound as you will be tested. You will need to sharpen your discipline on a daily basis in a manner that will keep you prime. #Boss

"Minimize the speech"... As the boss know that if you have laid down the rules it's now your team's responsibility to remember it, not yours. Most adults only need to be told things once to "KNOW" so, Long speeches that reiterate rules are counter productive. Get straight to the problem and take action on it not wasting time re-examining something you both know. #Boss

"Know what YOU bring to the table", tons of people come to the table not already knowing what they can contribute or what asset they bring to that table. It's like not having your stuff together when you make it to the counter your just holding everybody else up. In this "Right Now" kind of world always always always know what you are bringing to the table before you get there. #Boss

Know when it's time to revise your operation. From day to day things change and must of us especially if you have been successfully doing something for some time lose sight of when something needs to be changed. Be aware that failing to make swift action when change is needed could potentially cost you what you have worked hard to build.

"Integrity" is a key element you MUST keep at the forefront of your Lifestyle. Many people can say they have done many things yet, it is a select group that can say they have kept the integrity of their game intact. Be mindful of keeping this rule.

Know when to keep "I told you so" to yourself! Most of the time you know your craft like the back of your hand and your suppose to your a Boss... but, it is not always appropriate to express that you were right all along when communicating with people unless you want to be known as a "Know it all" and not the good kind either. #Boss

"FOCUS" - With social networking added to the already over information saturated daily life, focusing is a big part of what makes a boss. If you can't focus you will be less effective and thus less important. Your ultimate worth is summed into (whether good or bad) just how effective you are. A person might relate to an ineffective boss but they sure don't want one. Keep "staying focused" at the front of your mind. #Boss

Have a "BOTTOM- LINE", Draw it in the sand & Stick to it. Having a bottom line is the difference between bending and selling your soul. As a Boss you NEVER want to sell your soul. Hold to your bottom line and COMMAND (not demand) for it to be respected. #Boss

Be your own Boss Rule#8 - Know that there is a difference between being able to BUY something and being able to AFFORD something. Managing your finances is a skill and takes time to develop the discipline needed to remain on the positive side of your money. The sticker price is never the actual cost of a product. #Boss

"Avoid the Headache"

There is always a chance that things will not go as planned and usually they never go perfectly... Which I say lightly because perfect and never are words you should probably avoid. Speaking of avoid, lol that is the post's focal point yet, involving headaches. Business and life in general is easily compared to chess which I fell life may be a chess board but, you can still play checkers on it. Planning is a vital part of Success (there are times of unplanned success) yet, for the most part success is usually something that didn't happen over night. Obstacles that can be avoided should be. ID & map your route accordingly.

Be your own Boss Rule#7 - "WORD-OF-MOUTH" several ppl thought the significance of word-of-mouth became irrelevant and to some extent that WAS true. As we welcomed in Social Media. Word of Mouth is Back like it left something to take claim to it's rightful spot. Understand just how powerful word of mouth is and how to benefit from it and what to AVOID! A #Boss knows words carry weight.

Be your own Boss Rule#5 - "Hating" = energy wasted... No way around it. It takes time which = money, attention, & energy to hate. AVOID it at all costs, It doesn't benefit a Boss. If you feel like you are about to start "hating", that simply means your priorities are out of line. Check yourself & Get back to Crushing it. #Boss
