The Defilement of Ozymandias
By: J.T. Bynum
In the vast desert wasteland that lies in the outer realms of a great nation there is a city. A silent city of vacant streets and equally vacant skyscrapers. The city is immense and every window in every building is intact. There are no animals, no trees and no grass. Just paths that have never been walked on, roads that have never been used, and houses that have never been inhabited by any living being. There is a message written in the gleaming glass, carefully constructed concrete, and molten rivers of tar that compose the virgin necropolis that stands at this very moment, built by human hands and left abandoned, the message found in the city that exists in that equally lifeless desert, is:
FUCK YOU.
Long Walk Home.
