Random misfits thoughts: poly ver!
Nathan has his emergency contact as Simon. Alisha has hers as Kelly (and later Simon when they date). Kelly has hers as Simon. Curtis has his as either Kelly or Simon. And Simon has his as either Kelly or Curtis.
Alisha didn’t like Simon’s music taste until he introduced her to more alt rock music with female singers. She has a separate playlist for them.
Kelly let Nathan use her lipstick and then kissed it off of him.
Simon started gaining muscle doing parkour (literal canon) but then went to Curtis for more tips. They go to the same gym. Curtis likes having Simon as a workout partner. Nathan went once under the guise of building muscles for the ladies but spent most of his time watching Simon and Curtis (with multiple bathroom breaks).
Nathan uses Alisha’s mousse and other hair products. She complains a lot and cursed him out at the beginning for it but now she just buys extra and rolls her eyes when she gets low. Plus, she likes how Nathan’s hair has a better shine to it now(not that she’s let him know).
Kelly had found herself getting really into the mechanics of things when she got her new power (the one that lets her build rockets) and so she rants to Simon about it because he engages with her about it (like asks questions or remembers certain topics from previous conversation, brings up other points, etc).
Curtis can complain all he wants about Nathan getting free drinks. It’s redundant when he (and Alisha) are the ones still filling his cup. He says he’s adding it to Nathan’s tab (there is no tab).
Nathan has sleepovers at Kelly’s house and goes on walks with her when she takes Keith out just so he can ask what the dog is saying.
Kelly has sleepovers at Alisha’s house, she likes her room better, and Alisha lets her try on different make ups. When they do lipstick tests it’s only an excuse to kiss each other. They also go clothes shopping together so they can see each other get dressed (and undressed).:
Simon is cold a lot. That’s one of the reasons he wears so many layers (there’s also his dislike of people in his face and such). Nathan runs hot. I guess there’s a lot of blood pumping in his body (which makes sense if you think of his immorality and the way his body heals after dying). Point is, Nathan is all up on Simon a lot. And this is one of the reasons why.
Alisha and Nathan went to a drag race together and she made him participate in one. She helped him get ready and he did fabulous (he didn’t win and came closer to last).
Kelly took Simon along with her to a different tattoo artist to get her tattoo touched up just in case something happens again.
Curtis went to the movies with Simon to see marvel movies and admitted that they were cool. He’s still not as into hero shit as Simon but he lets Simon take him to see movies cause he thinks the effects and stuff are cool. Simon once speculated if any new hero movies would have people with actual powers and Curtis finds himself curious too.
Simon always knows if Curtis has went through a different timeline by the tone of his voice (this is specifically in moments when he doesn’t explain why they can’t do whatever it is they’re about to do and he doesn’t say because he saw it happened).
Nathan loved to use the most out of bounds jokes in public and Curtis walks away from him so people don’t think he’s with him (he is). Nathan sometimes takes it a step further and calls out to him, embarrassing him even more.
Kelly gets jealous easily. Alisha gets jealous easily too and hates herself when she does. Nathan only gets jealous when someone is persistent but Nathan never says that he’s jealous and tries not to act like it. Simon doesn’t get jealous easily, more out of low self esteem than security. Curtis doesn’t either but it’s out of security.
Kelly, Nathan, and Alisha are the only ones who can’t cook. Curtis never struck me as someone who couldn’t and Simon doesn’t either (more because he has a small sister and I have a personal hc about him having to take care of her).
Curtis and Alisha had an ongoing bet about Nathan and Simon and wouldn’t let Kelly in on it because of her telepathy cheat.
When Alisha and Curtis worked at a bar, Kelly got herself a job at a cafe (obligatory coffee shop au when?) and gave them free coffees. Nathan and Simon also get free coffees but one of them tips (it’s not Nathan).
Nathan gets into nature documentaries and convinced the group to sneak into a zoo after hours. The worst part is that almost all of them were high (Simon wasn’t) and they almost got caught.
Curtis take the group to see his family. His aunts and uncles don’t like Alisha, as he stated in canon. His father isn’t Nathan’s biggest fan but his nieces and nephews love him. Kelly only needed one minute before she was laughing with Curtis’ mom. His grandparents absolutely adore Simon.
Nathan hates his family and the group hates them too.
Alisha’s dad likes Curtis, surprising Nathan, and Simon. He finds also Kelly funny. I like to think Alisha’s dad is pretty chill. If her mom is in the picture (I’ve only heard her mention her dad), she’s also pretty chill but finds Nathan concerning.
Kelly’s mom loves all of them. Especially, Alisha.
The group had a lot of ideas about Simon’s parents. In my hc, they’re neglectful and hard on Simon (but I have another hc that they’re hippies lol). It doesn’t seem too bad until you remember all the bullying he went through (which is another thing entirely) and how nobody did anything. His parents don’t have the highest opinion of any of them cause they’re criminals. His sister is cool tho.
