Life’s pretty busy when you’re in your late twenties. A bunch of photos piling up in your gallery and no exact day on when you’ll be able to go through them again or even post some— that’s sort of what it looks like when work and responsibilities eat you daily.
Sometimes it’s nice to look back to the good old carefree days and just cherish those moments one more time. But nope, time flies fast especially when you get older. Our perspective and views of the world and life in general widened, I guess. If there’s one thing that adulting has made me realize, it’s that when your eyes get opened to the reality and practicality of life, your habits start to change. You start to adapt to what’s important, what’s urgent— priorities, needs, or wants, setting aside things that do not require immediate attention.
Despite all of these, I hope we still get to enjoy the simple things, however childish or silly they may seem. At the end of the day, it’s still our choice to consume whichever thoughts and things nourish our soul and whole being. But then again, sometimes even choice is a privilege. So lucky are those who has the freedom to choose from different options they may have through every situations. And for those who do not, I hope we hang on a little tighter, and build more strength within as brighter, better days are surely ahead. I know they will be. They should be. 🤗
ps. here are some photos from our trip in the north a few weeks back ✨
