Peter’s nose was actually broken and not just crooked
Making Kingpin so fucking big that during close-ups it’s just his face in a black void. (”350 pounds of pure muscle”)
Peni’s spider looked robotic
On a similar note Peni is amazing she’s like 12 and can design user-friendly interfaces on the fly to the point where even though from what I could see all of the text on the UI was in Japanese but Miles could still use it.
They did that robot face thing where you just give a robot a screen for a face where it just displays cute, simple faces like: :) (I would die for Spidr)
SCREENTONES: THE MOVIE
Gwen had an eyebrow piercing.
The spidey-suit eyes on the nose of Spider-Ham’s suit also moved like the big main ones over his eyes.
Doc Oc had a gorgeous design that made her distinct and frighteningly nimble I dunno a lot of other Doc Ocs are just ‘I’ll just add more metal to me so I can hit really hard’ and kinda just ignore that now they have like 4 more arms. This Doc Oc focusing on dexterity was great cause it meant she could take better advantage of that 3-dimensional combat spideys usually rely on.
Scorpion was really cool, he wasn’t there for very long but he was a lot more scorpion-like and had cool robot legs and like, normally he’s just a dude in a bright green robot suit. This Scorpion actually strongly reminded me of a scorpion visually.
MJ’s hair was really pretty
That’s all, her hair was really pretty and I wanted to mention it
Tombstone! Tombstone was there!
They made it clear that Miles’s suit was spraypainted, you could see the flecks of paint around the edges where he left the suit red.
Not a design thing but Miles knocked over his record player and that stressed me out real big.
The way they did eyes was neat, like, you could see there was a line drawn around the iris but Miles’s iris went outside the line in one spot.
