Oh please, like it takes much work getting home. Sure, Reimu isn’t as familiar with this place as the old city, and nowhere near as familiar with it as Gensokyo. but it can’t be that hard.
But she doesn’t fight Eiki. After all, she agreed to a drink! And there’s no way Reimu’s letting her get out of here without getting piss drunk.
「On-ly one.」 Reimu repeats Eiki’s words in a sing-songy voice. She pours her a drink in a sake saucer and carefully hands it over. For being quite inebriated, she still has a pretty good handle on her motor skills.
「I already like this place better than the last. Eternal cherry blossoms, without having to steal the spring from the rest of the island? I can get behind that.」
It can’t be helped. Once Eiki agrees to something, it’s usually for a good reason; true to her word, she sees it through, a drink with Reimu being no exception. She accepts the dish, merely hoping that it’s just that.
“Really? I’m surprised you would think so. This whole eternal cherry blossom thing smacks of suspicion. At the very least, you do understand that this violates the natural order of life and death, don’t you?” As if she herself has room to speak on this, given her fatal experience in the previous area. Her lips edging the dish, she takes a minute sip of its contents before determining that this isn’t entirely terrible. To follow, she takes a lengthier sip, then she gracefully lowers the dish to chest level.
It’s not immediate, but her face starts to feel a bit heated.
“This is actually palatable, the sake. I’m in awe that the locals have crafted such a fine beverage.”
“If you wish to indulge in toilet humor, please be mindful of who is present when doing so.”

Why, is that a Yama? A Yama, big stickler of the rules, yet again finding herself in the lawless land of whatever city they’ve been transported to?
Reimu squints. She’s asking herself this seriously. Maybe she shouldn’t have spent the remainder of her Dust on copious amounts of alcohol. But there was a deal at the liquor store, on some pretty acceptable sake, too!
Now here she is, surrounded by cherry blossoms, day drinking her worries away. Even a possible Yama cannot bring her down. 「Don’t glare at me like that. C’mon, have a drink.」
What’s a Yama have to do in order to enjoy the cherry blossoms in peace? Even if they were grossly out of season -- grossly, suspiciously out of season -- nothing should preclude her from enjoying them at least once before the winter approaches.
“You know as well as I that one of us is going to have to get the other home safely. But--” Here she seated herself now, her posture rigid and her hands folded atop each other on her lap. One drink wouldn’t do much to the Yama, right? After all, she was well accustomed to whatever it was that Komachi would always try to offer to her on a regular basis. And, with the copious amounts of free time afforded to her from her “job” of sorts at the courthouse, she really didn’t have room to object.
She heaved a sigh, resigning herself to Reimu’s whims. “I’ll accept, but just this one. On-ly one.”
