yeah zootopia’s a progressive movie about racism, but also: judy never had to give up her dream for a man. she worked her ass off non-stop to get what she wanted, had to prove herself at every corner, and guess what? not only did she finally achieve her dream, but she found love along the way.
that’s a great message for kids. that’s how it should be.
don’t ever put your career on the sidelines for your significant other. don’t settle and have hundreds of kids on a ranch (unless that’s your dream ofc) like judy’s mom because they told you people like you could never make a difference.
and who knows! maybe through your hard work and determination you’ll even inspire someone to be the person they never hoped they could be in turn, just like nick.
