🌮 Tostadas de Tinga de Pollo Verde (Air Fryer + Salsa Verde Blend)

air fryer chicken + blended salsa verde + GF tostadas = dangerously good

CHICKEN:

2–3 chicken breasts

salt + pepper

garlic powder (optional)

olive oil spray

SALSA VERDE:

6–8 tomatillos, husked

1 bunch cilantro

1 roasted serrano 🌶️

2 cloves fermented raw honey garlic

1/4 white onion

salt to taste

splash of water or lime juice

FOR SERVING:

gluten-free tostadas

beans (refried or whole)

extra cilantro

lime wedges (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. season chicken with salt + pepper + garlic powder

air fry at 375°F for 18–22 min until cooked through

rest 5 min then shred

2. roast serrano until blistered

blend tomatillos + cilantro + serrano + onion + fermented honey garlic + salt + splash of water/lime until smooth but still a little textured

3. heat pan, add shredded chicken + salsa verde

simmer 5–10 min until it thickens and soaks in

4. assemble: beans on tostada, add tinga, top with cilantro

this salsa verde with fermented honey garlic changed everything 🌿🌶️ air fryer chicken, blended tomatillos, roasted serrano, and GF tostadas from Los Guerreros… simple ingredients, slightly unhinged flavor. I’m never going back to jarred salsa.
