“I–I’m not even going to dispute that. I am awful when I win.” She grinned from ear to ear, before laughing softly. “Agreed. We’ll avoid it as much as we can. Even if that means, random visits to each other’s places. Just like today.” Audrie nodded her head, as they made it to the cab. Opening the door, she got inside first, scooting over to make room for Julian.

“You don’t even have the option to dispute it.” Julian grinned back, his life wouldn’t be the same if he couldn’t tease her, but it was all out of love and she teased him just as much. “Right. And if I’m busy with work and school in the day, I’ll just show up at three am and demand you let me in.” He was only halfway joking. Climbing in next to her, he glanced out the window and then back at Audrie. “Am I allowed to guess where we’re going? Or is that off limits?”

“I’m half past positive my room in haunted, and maybe I’m just paranoid but there’s no way in fuck I’m sleeping there. Please scoot over.”

“Wait -- but why do you think your room is haunted?”

She was unsure if she would be able to do just that but she knows she would be willing to. “For what?” She wondered what was going in his mind then and was waiting for him to tell her. “I do not and even if I do, I won’t be.”

“Oh, really?” Julian raised his eyebrows at her but he couldn’t help but grin. “For never making me feel like a bad person. For making me feel like a better person, actually. For always... just-- for everything.” He shrugged softly, smiling sadly. “You do. And you never put yourself first. I worry about you.” He hoped one day she would find happiness, all of the happiness she could handle, and she would realize that she deserved it.

“Are you sure?” She questioned with a small smile. “Oh, no, it’s fine. I don’t mind paying for the both of us, really.” Faith cleared up with a grin on her face. “Yes, I figured that it’s my best bet. At first I didn’t want to even attend so I’ve had a change of heart.” The girl admitted. “Yeah, I tried drinking nail polish after that and it was vile. But she nearly ate all of the ashes and it was so, so nasty.”

“Positive,” he nodded. “Okay... if you want to. But you don’t have to.” He wasn’t good at letting people do things for him but he was trying to be better, still he made a mental note that he owed her and one day, even long after she’d forgotten she ever bought him a cup of coffee, he would make sure he paid her back. “Well, maybe you’ll like it, and if you don’t -- you can always find something else to do. Plenty of people don’t go to college and they still make a good life for themselves. But I know you can do it, if you want to.” He grimaced, “You tried drinking nail polish? Why would you even do that? The ashes... that’s messed up, though. Seriously.”
