“It realy isn’t important. Is your daughter keeping you awake?”

“Though, it’s definitely not bad if someones with you or you’re with a group. It’s actually pretty interesting the stuff you see after dark in the city.” He said with a light chuckle. He looked at the building she pointed out, nodding. “I’d say I’d race you but that’s a pretty good distance from here,”

“It can still be scary sometimes. I just don’t really like the dark all that much and I know the lights light it up, but its still a bit scary.” She mentioned, “Are you doubting my ability to run?”

“A bit, yeah. He’s like…Always around. Plus he’s friends with Snow, so I don’t want to fight the guy if he’s close with her. I feel like she’d hate me if I did. Riker just annoys me, because he always seems to get away with everything.” Caleb shook his head.

“Are you and Snow dating? Or are you guys just friends or what?” She asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

“Aww, that’s awesome! I’m excited for you! Of course, she can stay here for the week. The more, the merrier.–I also need to tell you something, in about two weeks I’m leaving off to France for a week or so. Obviously, you can stay here, but I won’t be around for awhile.”

“I can’t tell you how much I love you. I mean, first you let me stay with you for the summer and now you’re letting my sister stay for the week. You’ll love her, she is so sweet.” She said She tilted her head, then nodded, “How long will you be gone?”

“I didn’t exactly get out of it. I mean Riker still hates me and I still don’t like him. I just avoid him now.”

“i pretended i didn’t know who he was and walked away. it worked out rather well, all things considered.”

“Well have you seen him since?”

“i basically had to beg my parents to let me go. i played the i just turned twenty i can do this card to guilt them and somehow it worked.”

“My family was able to afford to come down New York next week. I’m so excited! But, I was hoping that maybe, just maybe, my little sister could stay here for the week.”
