Collaging together images from the news, or... an outcry at the rapid escalation of online threat facing activists forging some to leave the country for their safety. One person was threatened with acid attacks, gang-rape and death, she tried to ignore the abuse while continuing her advocacy but the threats became more menacing including deap fake nude images and videos and videos posted in her own street, forcing her to leave.

A male nude with patterns and other words, or... a response to the announcement of a major overhaul, and a rebalancing, of the system which will replace the brutal showdowns with problem solving models. The central construct will be welfare and a reduction in the backlog of cases and reduced waiting times and other resolutions. This will now become the model for all cases including all the outcomes to ensure a balance, a balance that has not been in the system, a balance to counteract the embedded interests.

The naked chubster with the CRAB mask worries about forgotten things, there seems to be so many forgotten things, no memories of the detail of how things came to be what they are. This is how things are: stories and jokes are all used as protection, the protection is against disappointing people, so as not to be the person they find boring, or the person they hate. But there are no memories of being found boring, or being hated. Why is there a protection against something that may have never happened? Is the purpose of the strange silence rule in the House of Masks to get the visitors to challenge the baseless weaknesses in their own personality? And how do the visitors get passed the vulnerability of not being able to talk? Perhaps the shell of the CRAB mask will be the metaphoric as well as physical protection.

A naked male figure with other words, or... defence minister said they have violated international law according to the interview published in the paper today stating that their view it constituted a violation on the prohibition on violence and included a call to stop the attacks in order to protect civilians and mentioned the large number of residential commercial units included in the structures that have been attacked.

Hedonists and Heathens

The booth has a large crowd of regulars that might be considered hedonists, or at least heathens, as they are not following the traditions. They come and they go sometimes together and sometimes alone. They are in their thirties or forties but do not have young families, or perhaps, their children are not central to their lives. They are established in their white-collar careers and thus have the finances to participate in the finer pleasures of life whenever they have the time.

Of all the folk in the pub, they have been affected least by the plague. They have transitioned smoothly to working from home having the means and the space, their watercooler moments being replaced by accidental-trouserless-housemates moments in their endless video chats. Life is not a struggle, for them it truly is: changes that would have happened are simply happening quicker than expected. This group has little connection to plague deaths, and thus have regularly undertaken to subvert or circumnavigate the isolation through a dinner party club right at this very booth.

The very book that all editions ever printed can be found in the House of Masks library. It is not a book that belongs in the library, there are multiple copies of the book in many rooms in the House of Masks. This book remains unread. Untouched and unread. What a missed opportunity.

A nude male figure with suitcases and other words, or... a footnote in the reporting the effect of the events reported on the front page in the disruption of the travellers irrespective of their reason for their travel, with a listing of the regular services that have been suspended along with a prominent warning for the reader to contact their carrier before setting out but there is no word of panic rather an air of resigned patience, but perhaps that depends on the report the reader is reading.

The Emotional Lovers

Nearest the door is a table at which you will sometimes find the young lovers. They had embarked on adulthood before the plague but still feel sorry for them as no sooner were they exploring their sexuality as their explorations were curtailed. Ended. They are still full of ideas. They are still seeking their identity in this bizarre and conflicted world. Pray for them, and hope they are able to excel, and become the leaders of the future.

Devastating force

Collaging together images from the news, or... reading the intimate horror of the water starting to spurt from the plug sockets leading to the feeling of helplessness as the violent winds smacked down trees and tore tiles from the roofs, or the destruction brought by resent weeks of storm after storm and here a year's worth of rain falls in a fortnight and authorities ordered everyone to evacuate.
