Caleb: of course.
Caleb: we need to do something fun before summer is over.
Jules: we should go skinny dipping ;)

iMessage || Juliet
Caleb: wow, that's a really long time...
Caleb: are you excited to see her?
Jules: she wasn't able to come for family week ://
Jules: kinda. she knows i've been hanging out with my dad though so she'll probably make some snarky comment about that.
iMessage || Juliet
Caleb: that would be cool. I'm sure she'll be glad to see you.
Caleb: whens the last time you saw her?
Jules: christmas, i think.
Jules: we've talked on the phone and everything since though.

Jules: i'm gonna call her tomorrow and see about setting something up. maybe she can buy me a train ticket or something.
iMessage || Juliet
Jules: i think i'm gonna go visit my mom next week.
âWhere is it?!â Avery inquired out loud as she searched hastily through the drawers in her room. She hadnât bothered to close her door since it was kinda hot in there today and the hallway had a nice air flow. âUgh, It has to be in here somewhere!â The blonde groaned before noticing someone staring at her. âuh, hey.â she blushed softly, wondering how long they had been standing there watching her fumble around her room. âItâs uh, pretty hot out today, huh?â
Jules would be lying if she said she hadnât been avoiding Avery lately, she was concerned that maybe Averyâs opinion of her had changed after her dating Caleb came out. She didnât want to assume that they were still friends just for the other girl to act like she was a terrible person for what she âdidâ to Lucas. And she assumed her assumptions were correct considering Avery hadnât been contacting her either. She paused outside her dorm when she heard her, watching for a moment before she was noticed. âOh- Yeah, it is. Iâm assuming thatâs why your door is open?â She glanced around the room, crossing her arms across her chest. âWhat are you looking for?â
@julesrcsso
âThe next time I even think about going to visit my parents, please remind me of how much I hate them.â Aspen had literally just opened the door to her new dorm with Jules, and she was already complaining. It was probably a new record, but she wasnât keeping track. Instead she marched in, pout on lips and bags in tow, and sat on her bed in a huff. âYou have no idea how annoying it is to listen to them go on and on about my being the family âdisappointment,â as if Iâm going to apologize for not caring about cars. Do these nails look like theyâre ready for filing taxes or muffling engines? No. They donât.â She fell back onto her pillow with a wave of her hand. âIâm pretty sure that if I were still seventeen, theyâd try to change my name so I didnât taint the memory their favorite vacation spot.â Her statement came with a half-hearted laugh as she ran her hands through her hair. âOkay, sorry. Whatâs up, how have you been, howâs Caleb, etcetera, etcetera.â
Jules looked up from her book when Aspen entered, raising an eyebrow at the blonde amused. âI mean, I think I understand a little bit how annoying parents can be. Iâve never been referred to as the family disappointment, but they canât even spend five minutes in the same room without arguing. It makes me a little scared for my wedding day.â She said with a laugh, running a hand through her hair. âBut thatâs how family is. You just gotta deal with it until you move out. Then Iâm sure youâll feel differently about them, youâll get to see them when you want to. It wonât be forced.â She sat up, closing her book and setting it aside on the nightstand. âIâve been good. Calebâs been busy lately with his workouts for the new football season but... Iâm gonna see if we can get together soon. Like, itâs been way too long. I miss him a little bit.â
