“Oh don’t look at me like that. They had it coming,” he flinched as he removed the cold compress from his swelling eye. “You should see the other person.”
"Maybe they did, but fighting is not always the answer."
hanaclarke-x:
“I’m not busy at all, actually,” she said with a grin, “so I’m totally up for raiding your closet.”
"Well then, let's go. and you can raid my closet any time you want."
elisecoplen:
“Oh no. Were there a lot of people around when you fell? I guess you learned to be more careful around in the ice.”
"Thankfully no. Which saved me from a lot of embarrassment. I still hate the ice though even if I am used to it."
calxrhodes:
“You didn’t. Remind me to buy your grandmother some flowers or something. Poor woman is cleaning out her kitchen for me at this rate.” Calypso loved spending time with Jules. She hadn’t seen her much, not after she told her about her family situation and the blizzard. She was happy when Jules reached out to her and it was with luck she had a day off of work so she dropped whatever she was doing and came right over. “You spoil me too much, Donovan.” the brunette smiled, already reaching out to grab a pastry from the tray. “I brought some of those new tea flavours from leafs. Figured we could try out the samples?”
"Will do. And you should know by now that she considers you family." She pointed out as she sat down next to her. A smile forming on her lips, she nudged her in the arm playfully. "And my to grandma, family, blood related or not, comes first." If there had been one thing she learned from her grandma, it was that family would always comes first no matter what. And Cali was family to her. "You should feel special because I rarely spoil anyone." At the mention of tea, she sat up a bit. "Tea? Yes please. I am so up for trying some new tea."
elisecoplen:
“Exactly. That can be so embarrassing too when there are a lot of people around. Even though the snow is pretty, the overall winter scenery is dull.”
"My first year here, during the winter, I slipped on ice more than once. It was beyond embarrassing."
teddy-antonov:
“Look, I already told you, I don’t know where your pen is, lady,” Teddy rolled his eyes at the woman asking him again if he’d seen it after she went up to the counter to get a drink. “Can’t you just go to, wherever, TD Bank or Chase to get a new one? It’s not that hard.” He took a sip of his coffee, not about to have this conversation for what felt like the tenth time in ten minutes. “Did you see her super important, rare, valuable, one-of-a-kind-can’t-be-replaced-pen?” he asked the person nearest to them. Maybe someone else saying as much would get her to give up her pointless search.
Hearing Teddy's question, Jules looked over at him and shook her head. If she had even seen a pen, she would have said so. "Nope. No pen here." She replied back as she looked at Teddy, and then at the woman.
@calxrhodes
A week had passed since the blizzard. Since well everything happened. It was why she had called Cali to have her come over. After all, a girls night was more than needed for the two of them. Grabbing one of the trays of food, she brought it into the living room. "I had my grandma cook some of your favorites." She spoke as she placed the tray down on the coffee table. "And we have pizza on the way too." Knowing Cali, she was just glad that she had enough food there for not only herself, but her best friend too.
hanaclarke-x:
“I may actually take you up on that offer, because my sweaters suck.”
"Well, if you're not too busy right now, we could head on over to my place so you could look at the sweaters I have."
helenagrimaldi:
“I would have to agree,” Helena replied, sounding a bit more chipper than usual, “Riding my bike in this has practically been unbearable.”
"Walking in the cold and snow is unbearable too."
teddy-antonov:
“Yeah, at this point who knows if it was a lie or just someone being an idiot. Whatever, she got more fame outta it, right? What’d you do for New Year’s Jules?”
"Wouldn't surprise me if it was a lie. She did though. And she got her redemption as some would say. New Years? I spent it alone. Ended up going to bed early. What about you? What did you do for New Years?"
amelierousse
“I can definitely agree with that.” As they stopped at a traffic light waiting to cross Amelie was rubbing her hands to keep them warm and looked over at her friend. “So, bring me up to speed on your life. How’s work? Are you seeing anyone?”
"Work is going pretty well. As for my love life, nothing new in that department."
hanaclarke-x:
“Some of my sweaters of very itchy,” she said with a laugh.
"Itchy sweaters are the worst. You're more than welcome to borrow some of mine. I promise that they don't itch."

dinah-davenport:
Dinah was in full doctor mode as she whizzed around Madison Square Garden with blankets and cups of hot chocolate and the like. Though, she had never really gotten out of that mode since what happened at Halloween. She had managed to source a medical kit from the medical rooms for players and such and was making sure that no one was slipping into hypothermia. It was after a good few hours that she finally had a moment to breath before she spotted someone sitting against the wall. After a moment, she walked over and crouched down next to them with a hot chocolate, “Are you alright?” she asked as she handed them the cup. Supernatural or not, hot chocolate could always make things a little better.
Making her way back over to where her grandparents were, she stopped for a moment when she saw Dinah by them. It made her smile a bit to know someone else aside from her was checking on them. "They're just tired." Jules spoke as she walked over. "After pretty much having to pack fast before heading here, we're all just exhausted."
adella-doe:
“Why couldn’t it have been a heatwave or something instead of this bloody snow?” Adella muttered to herself as she sat with her hot chocolate in one hand and cigarette in the other, “As if all being clustered here isn’t a recipe for disaster”. Of course she was one of the ones behind the last one but no one really knew that.
"Either a heatwave or a blizzard, we'd all still be stuck together somewhere." She pointed out as she walked over.
