OK, here I go being all activist, no apologies. Ready?
If you're even remotely worried about the state of the planet and those living on it, switch to all plant-based food. Animal agriculture is THE biggest factor impacting our climate and our environment, even though nobody wants it to be true. This industry and its underlying value system are two of the most destructive and exploitative things humanity has ever created. Let's get rid of this mess together.
The biggest plus is of course that you're also saving hundreds of individual lives. Rethink your relationship to other animals. Just like us, they want to live, they feel and they think. They do not belong to us, but exclusively to themselves. We share this world with them, they are neither a resource nor a threat nor entertainment, but neighbours.
Oh yeah, and then there's lots of health benefits and a big fat karma bonus for those of you who have bodies or a social life. Just make sure you learn how to stay healthy with this kind of diet long-term, and experiment how to make it work best for yourself.
I won't get involved in fundamental discussions here, but I'll leave you this excellent FAQ: https://veganuary.com/myths/

I promise not to do this sort of bland call-to-action all the time (I like to be more sneaky and metaphorical), but it just felt necessary. Especially since it's Easter, my favourite time of year for animal rights depression.
Happy holidays everyone!
