munro-saunders:
Munro shook his head. âYâknow what? No. Iâm not going to leave.â He walked back to the couch and sat down. âIâm going to fucking sit here. I donât care how long it takes, but youâre going to have to open up to me at some point.â He leaned back into the couch. âIâm not going to a bar. Iâm not going anywhere. I came here to talk to you, cause I thought maybe part of you would be delighted to see me. I knew youâd be fucking pissed, but I also thought part of you would care, but youâre just as cold-hearted as ever.â He couldnât believe the words that escaped his mouth. âI left you? You gave me no choice, Julian. Youâd started your shifts at the hospital and you never had any time for me. You knew I needed you so the only person I had to talk to was her. I didnât expect it to escalate to where it did. I didnât expect for her to get pregnant. I was trying to do right by all of us, by leaving you and looking after her. Preparing her for our baby. But thatâs all gone to shit because she lost the baby, Julian. She fucking lost the baby. My baby. She lost my baby.. Any hope I had for a family is gone. Like any fuck I give. Itâs gone.â He sighed heavily. âI donât have anything figured out. I am so lost, without anyone⌠without you.â
âWhy? Why are you doing this to me?â Julian yelled, feeling like the things he had said up until this point had gotten nowhere. Even though he didnât want Munro to leave, he didnât want them to sit here and argue all night. It just reminded him of the night they broke up, because that was exactly what had happened. âOpen up to you about what, Munro? Do you want to know how my day went?â The blonde asked sarcastically, setting his arms by his side in defeat afterwards. It was awkward...he didnât know what Munro wanted him to open up about. âI told you the night we met what I was going to school for. You knew I was going to be busy. Did you think it wasnât killing me, too? To be away from you twenty hours a fucking day? But I never cheated on you, because I loved you.â He sighed, brown eyes looking straight to Munro. âFuck, I still love you more than Iâve ever loved anyone. I canât even date anyone, so how you did it, I donât know. Maybe you can give me some tips...on how to move on.â How much was too much now that Munro was with someone else? No matter how angry he was, heâd never want to hear that something had happened to Munroâs child, to Piperâs child. No one deserved to go through that. Because of his job, Julianâs face almost didnât change. He wasnât doing it on purpose - but he had to tell patients all the time that someone was sick, or going to die. Now the person that had lost someone was the love of his life. Julian leaned back against the counter, burying his head in his hands for a minute. âThereâs nothing I could say that would be good enough...â he finally shook his head, looking down to the floor. âIâm really sorry...no matter how angry I am, you know Iâd never wish that on you...or her.â Julian slowly looked back to Munro, wondering if he was still with Piper. He knew it was terrible to wonder it, but he couldnât stop. Was Munro coming here because he and Julian had once been friends? Fine, but Julian couldnât erase how much he loved him. Julian walked over to finally shut the front door all the way, locking it after as he began to walk towards Munro. âYou can stay here tonight. I mean, if you want...I donât want you to be alone right now.â
