There’s a story behind these earrings: I bought them in 2013 as gift to myself for landing my dream job as a fashion editor; they seemed to be the perfect expression of the style I always admired: punk and ladylike; spikes and pearls. Fast forward through a career change and address change, I discovered them about 3 months ago in a drawer. I was ecstatic to be wearing them again. Then about a month ago I lost one. I looked everywhere to no avail. Today as I checked my mailbox in the lobby of my apartment building, I noticed something familiar pinned to the bulletin board: my lost earring. Thank you to whoever found/returned it to me! Maybe 2018 will be a good year after all. #mylifeathome (at Pasadena, California)
