Testimony for Julie

As i write this i’m overcome with such sickness that I apologize in advance if my words become jumbled. I’ve known julie for the longest time, and for a long time I was afraid to speak up about how manipulative he can be. He always finds a way to blame it on the other party, gaslight, brush off serious explanations so he can remain on his high pedestal. This isn’t just a testimony, its a warning to all who associate themselves around him. He can and will manipulate and belittle you.

@haued / @rosegaia, there’s already a post that points out where & how you went wrong so i’m going to keep this short. what’s generally more upsetting about you , specifically whitewashing hau was your shitty attitude to how you went about dealing with the issue. you 1) failed to acknowledge that you whitewashed hau in your promo, 2) mocked the idea of calling someone out on whitewashing, 3) belittled the issue & allowed ( & frankly, encouraged) your followers to do the same! my problem with you isn’t just that you whitewashed hau. my problem with you is also that you treated the problem as a “non-issue” (your words, not mine!), treating whitewashing like it’s some trivial matter … & more specifically, treating whitewashing like it’s some nuisance to your graphics. also, you made a point that as a poc, you were offended by my accusation? as one poc to another, i can tell you something: just bc you’re a poc does not mean you’re exempt from whitewashing or being racist.
